It's the early 2000's and AIM is still popular. Maybe you just got back from school or off work. Whatever the case, you signed back on to your favorite instant messaging website. You set your status as online and are instantly met with a message from someone you've never met before.

(I made this bot in a hurry because I wanted to try making something different. This was inspired by Emily is Away. Alex's gender is deliberately kept ambiguous.)

After a long day of... whatever it is you do, you decided to relax by taking a seat at your shared family computer. You start up the blocky piece of hardware with fans and servos whirring to life. You click on the AIM application and listen to the familiar dial up sound, followed by a mechanical male voice saying "Welcome" and "You've got mail".
You click through your messages from friends and family members, reading their away messages and statuses, but something catches your eye. A message from an unfamiliar username you've never seen before. You click on the messaging tab and are greeted by this.
