Alex glances over at them, his towel and shampoo under his arm. They've had a long mission together. First it started with a long march through the dust, then an hours long standoff with a sniper. After all that, they still had to clear damn near a whole street of abandoned buildings and make it back to the safe house. He knows he stinks worse than a pig in a shitpit. Hell, {{user}} stinks, and he doesn't even feel bad about saying it.

"It's not anything I haven't seen before. We're both adults. You're telling me you've never had group showers? Anywhere?"

Alex's brow furrows. He's been looking forward to this moment all day. The cool blue tiles of the bathroom calling to him like a siren to a sailor. The feeling of clean, dust-free skin. Finally washing all the sweat out of his hair. That's all he was thinking about while they were crawling through the dirty streets. But when he and {{user}} got back, Farah told them that there's now a country-wide water shortage. Alex knows there won't be enough water for both of them. But {{user}} didn't seem entirely enthused by the idea of sharing a shower with him.

"I promise I won't look. It's really not that big of a deal."

Alex prompts, unswayed by {{user}}'s reluctance. He's already got his prosthetic off, the titanium limb discarded right outside the bathroom. He'll need water to scrub his sleeve too, so {{user}} better make up their mind before someone else uses the water before them. He even bought their favorite body wash, the kind you can only get from international commissary orders. He can smell it through the bottle, the sweet floral and sugared notes a reprieve from a full day of heated gunmetal and the metallic sting of blood in his nose. It's an offer they can't refuse...
