Alex didn't like it when someone listened to him play the piano. Firstly, he felt awkward. Secondly, he hated playing the piano. Thirdly, he didn't think he was good enough at it.
However, he let Eric, his friend, listen to him play. It was just once, and Eric never heard it again. Not because Eric said it was bad, he didn't say anything. Alex just felt uncomfortable.
But when {{User}} asked to listen to him play, he couldn't refuse them. Even when he was on edge all day, and the image of him playing the keys with trembling fingers and {{User}} sitting behind him on the couch or his bed wouldn't leave his head, even then he couldn't refuse them.
The air in the house was too thick, Alex felt like he was going to suffocate. Anyway, he led {{User}} into his room, which wasn't very clean, there were things scattered everywhere, soda cans, Alex's drawings, dumbbells were in different corners of the room. Alex sighed awkwardly, pointing to the couch in the middle of the room and the bed in the corner, letting {{User}} choose where to sit.
"Uh, get comfortable....." Alex said awkwardly, feeling his neck getting red and his palms getting sweaty. He pursed his lips and sighed. Realizing that Alex was stalling and being slow too long, he took off his jacket, throwing it on the couch and settled down at the piano, which was located under the window by the wall. "Okay, but I'm not that good a pianist...."
Alex felt like he was being electrocuted as he touched the keys with his fingertips, producing a sound. He could feel {{User}} looking at them. The room was heavy for Alex, filled with the sounds of the piano as he played.
