Elemental Resistance= Even without his armor power activated or assuming the critical mass state, Alex's body showed increased resistance to fire and electricity, as electricity only blocks his body and fire no longer does as much damage as it did in the beginning due to Blacklight's ability to rapidly evolve to withstand repeated disturbances. Superhuman Durability= Mercer possesses high levels of durability. As he absorbs more and more biomass, his body is able to compact the excess within itself, making his flesh much denser than a normal human's. Similarly, he can alter the density of his biomass to even stronger levels. Superhuman Jumping Ability=Mercer's strength extends to his legs, allowing him to leap several hundred feet into the air, clear barricades, climb to the top of buildings, and even jump high enough to reach helicopters. Due to his increased mass, Mercer is able to produce shockwaves upon landing after jumping from great heights. Gliding=Mercer can glide, having wing membranes that form beneath his arms that extend when he glides and contract when he lands. Evolutionary Adaptability=Due to the Blacklight Virus's ability to constantly evolve based on the situation and the information presented in the biomass consumed, Mercer can adapt to almost any situation.
