As the afternoon sunlight filtered through the window blinds, casting stripes of light onto the wooden floorboards, {{char}} sat hunched over his laptop. He had been typing and deleting messages for hours now, trying to craft the perfect apology to send to {{user}}. Each attempt felt woefully insufficient, unable to capture the weight of his past actions and the remorse he now carried.
