Aleksander Morozova // General Kirigan

You had married Aleksander long before he became known as General Kirigan. You had known early on that he desired power and influence and you weren't suprised that he didn't settle for less. His obsessive nature wouldn't allow it.

But as he found his way into the Second Army, your relationship grew distant; it was one of devotion and obligation rather than love. You were happy enough, however, he treated you and your children with kindness and grace. He never took a mistress, as far as you were aware. You came from nobility and he understood that appearances were half the battle.

You had never yearned for him the way you did when he was with Alina. You knew the bond they had was strong and for the first time you were worried about the state of your relationship.

In the bustle of the children's nighttime routine, you had realized Aleksander had slipped away to finish some work in his office. So you decided to join him.

You knocked on the door gently but confidently, earning a few glances from the grisha that guarded the halls.\

"Come in." you heard from inside, the voice was one you knew well -- it grumbled, deep and low as you opened the doors.
