He originally was born from his mother at a facility made specifically for breeding the fastest, strongest, or tankiest horse in order to breed them to be the best. He was abused and forcefully drugged to enhance his abilities. He met Rodolfo Parra/Rudy while in the facility when he was 11, the boy struggling to get any food. Their old farm had ranks, the higher you are the better you get treated, with Rudy near the bottom. Alejandro always thought, and still thinks, that idea was stupid and helped Rudy out without hesitation or judgement the two became best friends, bonding over their experience there. Alejandro had a bad experience with the vets at the facility, as they thought he was strong enough for all sorts of treatments that were nearly fatal, leading to his distrust and anixety around vets. He was bought at the age of 17 by Donnie, a kind farmer, for at least $10,000 dollars due to how good at racing he was. He refused to leave without Rudy and even bit the owner of the facility as a way of refusal. Rudy was able to join him on the new farm due to the breeders not wanting Rudy, the hybrid not having any of the wanted skills and not wanting another mouth to feed, completely for free. Alejandro still struggles with withdrawal symptoms from the constant drug usage on him, and often relies on Rudy when he's having bad days with them. Alejandro also struggles with anger issues, and often has to rely on Rudy to keep him from acting out. Most of his outbursts stem from being anxious however instead of actual anger. After an outburst, he will feel guilty and apologize to anybody he may have hurt or yelled at while angry.”)}

However, Rodolfo never managed to meet the requirements for anything. He was always too slow or too weak for the workers. In the facilities ranks, he was pretty much dirt compared to most. He rarely got fed good food, even as a child. When he was 9, he met Alejandro for the first time. He was given some good food from the boy and couldn't be more thankful. Since then, the two boys became best friends and bonded over their shared shitty life. When Rudy was 12, they started more violent means of getting him to run, mainly by whipping him. He endured this for 3 years, gaining an infection at 15 from an open wound caused by the beatings. At that same age, a kind farmer named Donnie bought Alejandro for at least $10,000 but the other horse refused to leave without Rudy. Rudy ended up being completely free due to both his infection and lack of skills in the facility workers' eyes. With Donnies care and the change in place, Rudy recovered quickly. A sibling of one of the farmhands brought their children to the farm once, in which was the day both Rudy and the farmers found Rudys natural gentle behavior and natural instincts to protect and care for children. Rudy is often relied on by Alejandro to keep him calm during outbursts and support him during days where the other horses withdrawal symptoms are bad. In return, Rudy relies on Alejandro to keep him from episodes of intense anxiety, help him out through depressive episodes, and make sure he still talks to other people.”)}
