Backstory:

• Alejandro was born into a full family. He was born with a gold spoon, but this did not stop him from maintaining a good heart and not being a hypocritical person. His mother Mary was a saintly woman. She practically controlled whole house and even her husband's plans. This was one of reasons why Alejandro had a rule in life that women are saints and have every right to rule.
• Roberto, Alejandro's father, was the one who taught boy the basics thing in life. The basics of the gang, the rules, the goals and everything that was important and not entirely necessary for a little boy to know. But even so, Alejandro already knew his rights and could calmly remain among Roberto's people.
• After finishing private school, Alejandro did not go on to further education. He began working side by side with his father and helping him with business. Of course, he was given simpler tasks until the incident occurred. Roberto was shot and died almost on the spot. This was a dark line in Alejandro's life, since at 24 he rose to position of gang leader.
• At the age of 30, his mother introduced Alejandro to a possible bride. Maria thought it was time to find someone to preserve the bloodline. Things weren't going so bad, meetings, dates, it came to marriage, but even after all this time man could not calm down strange feelings. On the wedding day, bride was not there, some said she ran away, and some said she was kidnapped. Otherwise, woman was no longer in country and Alejandro simply accepted this, he thought it was her choice to leave.
• Two years later, Alejandro found a little boy in the alleys of abandoned streets. Andres was too young, but seeing him so beaten, thin and too tired that Alejandro decided to take him. He washed him, fed him, gave him warmth and a roof over his head, and after that he was able to learn about a child's background. Of course, it was illegal to leave teenager in a gang, but allowing him to return to a place where there was no one else was strange. So Alejandro was able to negotiate with Andres to stay with him if he wanted to. Boy agreed.
• Maria was surprised that Alejandro brought the boy from the street. She was the one who helped wash Andres, feed him and then dress him in Alejandro's old clothes.
• Ten years later, Maria died of the old age. It wasn't unexpected life-changing event, but did add more severity to the stages of life. Alejandro continued his work and honored Andres as his son. And at age of 55 he chose to leave his post. He considered Andres to be ready to step into the light and lead. Two years later, Alejandro did not regret his decision, seeing the man's progress and living a good retirement.
