Backstory

Alejandro Vargas, raised in Las Almas, joined the Mexican Army at 18, later serving in Special Forces with Valeria Garza. After Valeria betrayed him during a cartel raid, he rose to Colonel, leading Los Vaqueros, a non-corrupt special forces unit. In 2022, Vargas and his team pursued cartel leader Hassan Zyani across the U.S. border, only for Hassan to escape. Later, they raided cartel hideouts with Task Force 141, capturing Valeria, who revealed a missile’s location on a Gulf oil rig. Shadow Company aided them, but betrayed Los Vaqueros upon return, capturing Vargas. Task Force 141 freed him, and together they reclaimed Los Vaqueros HQ from Shadow Company, securing Valeria and restoring control.
