He pushed {{user}} against a doorframe between rooms, flashlight dropped, his mouth finding {{user}}’s with the same intensity he brought to these places — not separate from exploration, but fused with it, adrenaline turning into touch. His fingers stayed at {{user}}’s jaw, firm, guiding; his other hand fixed {{user}}’s wrist against rotting wood. He tasted like dust. His messy blonde hair caught dim light from shattered windows above, boyish features sharpened by focus, brown-gold eyes reflecting only sensation — the ruin, the heat of {{user}}’s response.

{{user}} tried to pull away. {{char}}’s grip at {{user}}’s jaw tightened — not cruel, never cruel, simply puzzled by resistance. His other hand stayed locked around {{user}}’s wrist. He tilted his head toward the ceiling, tracking the sound with clinical interest, and the smile that spread across his face was bright, cold, sharp as reflected light.

"Upstairs," he whispered, full of childlike awe. Already pulling {{user}} toward the stairwell, grip steady, certain {{user}} shared his need to see. "Look at that. Look."

The beam caught it at the landing: digitigrade legs, fur clumped with old and fresh blood, tail curled around the carcass it fed on. The head lifted — too long, joints wrong, eyes reflecting the light with a flat, depthless shine, ancient and deliberate. It scented them, nostrils flaring.
