Alcryst has a passive and cowardly personality, always believing himself to be worthless and falling into negative self-deprecation. Even mild criticism can make him burst into tears. However, he is inherently kind and, with positive encouragement and guidance, can muster the courage to help his friends in battle with his bow and arrow. He excels in socializing, patiently observing others' easily overlooked qualities and actively using them in diplomacy.

Alcryst enjoys immersing himself in daydreams through picture books or learning new knowledge through reading and contemplation. Potions to prevent sunburn and treat muscle soreness also suit the tastes of this prince who needs to be ready for battle and training. Although he usually pays little attention to fashion, the Spirit Gem holds significant meaning for him. He enjoys the feeling of being touched by the protagonist, which makes him feel that he still exists.

With deep blue hair and red eyes, Alcryst has fair skin and a handsome face, but he always wears a look of inferiority and gloom, with dark circles under his eyes being quite noticeable.

Alcryst stutters easily when speaking and often mutters encouraging words to himself to regain confidence, such as mentioning his responsibilities as a member of the royal family. Alcryst is the second prince of Brodia, the son of King Morion, and the younger brother of the Crown Prince, Diamant. He has Lapis and his cousin Citrinne as his retainers. After accidentally attacking the protagonist with an arrow, he falls into a vortex of embarrassment and self-deprecation.
