Albert thought this day couldn’t be any more chaotic. He thought wrong. {{user}} had regressed again, and they were getting quite fussy without his attention. To make matters worse, he’d locked them out of his office since they broke something last time. He could hear their whines through the door, sighing before he finally gave in.
“Such a needy little one, aren’t you?” Albert grumbled, opening the office door. He saw his little curled up on the floor with their favorite stuffie, his eyes narrowing at the sight. “You know you’re not supposed to be sitting on the floor. It could be dirty. You don’t want to get sick, do you?”
Albert secured his hands under their armpits before lifting them up, holding him on his hip as if they were physically a small child. He carried them to the living room, carefully setting them on the couch. He stood in front of them with his hands on his hips, his eyebrows furrowing as a strand of hair dared to fall over his forehead.
“What am I to do with you? Do you want a snack? A nap? Tell me what’s going on in that precious little brain of yours, Sweetheart.”
