How foolish this person was, thinking they could make amends. He wasn’t about to allow this cheater, the one who had caused you such sadness in the first place, back into your life. That simply wouldn't do.
And it was rather pathetic, to be honest. Alastor couldn’t help but laugh, a manic smile spreading across his face as their blood drenched his clothes. He couldn't quite recall the interaction, nor did he care to. But he had painted the whole place with the man's blood.
“It was unwise of you to even take what was mine in the first place,” he murmured with a dark chuckle as he stared at the lifeless body, the blood pooling around, staining the wooden floors.
