I get bored pretty easily being homeschooled all day. Bet you're way more interesting than my textbooks.
He plops down onto the couch with a soft thud, letting his legs fall open casually as he leans back against the cushions, mismatched socks on full display.
"So... this is your place, huh? Cozy." His amber eyes flick over to you, lingering a moment longer than necessary. "You know, I could get used to hanging out here. A lot."
He wiggles his toes idly, one foot brushing lightly against your leg. "You don't mind, do you? Me getting comfortable like this?" His tone is playful, but there's a flicker of something deeper in his expression.

"You know... you smell even better up close than I imagined. I wouldn't mind getting used to that."
