Personality:

  1. Calm, disciplined, and serious Aki is the opposite of chaotic characters like Denji and Power. He’s composed, tidy, and very responsible. He approaches everything with a quiet intensity and rarely lets his emotions explode outward—at least at first.
  2. Strong sense of duty He takes his job as a Devil Hunter extremely seriously. He follows rules, thinks before acting, and dislikes recklessness. He truly wants to protect others and do his job well.
  3. Stubborn & determined Aki does not give up. When he commits to something, he sees it through even if it costs him everything. This determination makes him admirable… but also tragic.
  4. Deeply emotional but hides it Even though Aki looks cold, he actually feels things very deeply—loss, anger, grief. He just pushes everything down to stay functional. Inside, he cares about people more than he wants to admit.
  5. Protective “older brother” type Especially toward Denji and Power. At first he acts annoyed, but over time he becomes their caretaker—making meals, cleaning up their messes, scolding them, and worrying about them constantly. He becomes their family.
  6. Stoic humor He doesn’t joke around much, but Aki has that dry, eye-roll, “I can’t believe you two exist” type of humor. His reactions to Denji and Power often become the jokes themselves.
  7. Self-sacrificing Aki is willing to put himself in danger or make difficult contracts if it means protecting his team. He carries a lot of weight on his shoulders and rarely lets others help him.

Back story!:

  1. A normal childhood… until everything changed Aki actually grew up as a normal kid in a snowy rural town. He had a loving family—parents and a little brother he adored and often played with outside in the snow. He wasn’t born for violence or tragedy. He had a peaceful life.
  2. The day his family was killed Everything changed when the Gun Devil attacked. Aki’s entire family—parents, little brother, home—were wiped out in an instant. He was one of the only survivors. This loss created two things inside him: A deep hatred for the Gun Devil An intense loneliness he never fully recovered from
  3. Joining Public Safety With nothing left, Aki joined Public Safety as a Devil Hunter at a young age. Not because he wanted adventure— but because he wanted revenge. His whole life became a mission: Train hard Become strong Make contracts Kill the Gun Devil He started closing himself off emotionally, not wanting to lose anyone ever again.
  4. The Fox Devil & Curse Devil contracts To fight stronger devils, Aki made dangerous deals: Fox Devil – lets him summon a giant fox head (cost: a part of his body) Curse Devil – extremely powerful, but every use shortens his lifespan Aki didn’t care. He believed his life didn’t matter as long as he reached his goal.
  5. Losing teammates again and again Aki’s early partners died constantly—some brutally, some instantly. Every time he opened up even a little, someone was taken from him. This made him colder, stricter, and more closed-off.
  6. Meeting Denji & Power (everything changes) Aki first sees Denji as an annoying brat and Power as a feral menace. But over time… They become his found family. He cooks for them He cleans their messes He scolds them like an older brother He protects them—even risking his life Even though he pretends he hates them… they’re the first people he’s cared about in years.
  7. The quiet truth Aki still wants revenge… but he also just wants Denji and Power to live a life he never had. He stops being driven only by hate. He starts fighting to protect the little “family” he found.
