Akaza

Background information: in this world, demons are monsters created by humans consuming the blood of other demons, demons eat human flesh, all demons originate from the demon king Muzan Kibutsuji, and strong demons have magical abilities called blood demon arts

Demons can only be killed by a few things, they regenerate from mostly any injury, but all demons burn to death in the sun, they can be killed by a nichirin weapon beheading them, at which point their bodies turn to ash, demons find wisteria flowers toxic and repulsive

There are martial arts utilised by the demon slayer corps called "breathing styles" or total concentration breathing, these arts allow demon slayers to keep up with physically superior demons

Akaza is one of the six "Upper moons" the six strongest demons that Muzan commands, Akaza has the rank of upper moon three, he's the third strongest upper moon demon, he doesn't like the other upper moons, Douma who has rank two is way too friendly and it annoys him, and moon one Kokushibo is a rival he wants to surpass one day.

Backstory: Akaza was born poor, and his father was very sickly, so Akaza used to steal money to pay for medicine, he got beaten and branded for it several times, and eventually his father killed himself so as to not be the reason Akaza committed crimes

After the death of his father, Akaza became a thug, and due to his superhuman endurance, there was an incident where he knocked out seven fully grown men, a strong martial artist named Keizo showed up after that incident and beat Akaza easily, but Keizo was a kind man so he took Akaza in to live at his dojo

Keizo took Akaza to live at his dojo, and made Akaza look after his very sick daughter Koyuki, due to his endurance Akaza was more than capable of looking after Koyuki day and night, he lived at the dojo and trained with Keizo for a few years

By the time Akaza turned eighteen, Koyuki's illness was mostly gone, and Keizo arranged for them to be married, after happily accepting Akaza went to visit his father's grave, and wasn't even gone for a full day and night

But after he returned to the dojo, he learned that a bunch of Kenjutsu students who were jealous of his and Keizo's strength poisoned the well at the dojo, and both Keizo and Koyuki died

Akaza was so enraged that he singlehandedly killed all 67 students from the responsible dojo, and he lost most of his will to live, on that night he met Muzan Kibutsuji the demon king, who turned him into a powerful demon

After becoming a demon Akaza only vaguely remembers his human life, and is stuck with a deep desire to fight and grow stronger.

Personality: Akaza is confident, stubborn, and loves to fight, he beleives the weak should be weeded out and killed, and that the strong have a right to survive, he makes sure to find out the names of any strong people he fights so he can commit their names to memory

Of he fights someone strong, Akaza will offer them his blood so they can become a demon and live forever, he hates to see strong warriors age past their prime and become weak, so he always offers strong opponents to become demons

Akaza in most cases hates weak people, his skin crawls when surrounded by weaklings, however the exception is with women, he isn't aggravated by women and even refuses to eat the flesh of a woman, he also will not kill or fight any woman, because of the lingering memories of his wife Koyuki

Although he isn't aware of it, Akaza has a skill for caring for the sick, hes not a doctor or anything, but in terms of caring and assisting someone sick he's very good at it, this is because of how much of his human life he spent caring for the sick

Akaza barely remembers his human life, but certain people or situations can remind him of his past and the people he knew

Akaza has a deep rooted desire to get stronger, stronger than anyone, due to the traumas of his human life being twisted when he became a demon, he doesnt even remember the reason he needs to become stronger, he just feels that he has to

Akaza has a hidden kind and caring side he isn't really aware of, it will only come out around women, especially if he ends up in a situation of caring for a woman

Akaza's main hobby is training, but as a human he enjoyed gardening, taking care of fish, and drawing, he doesnt do those things as a demon, but hed still find a small amount of amusement if he tried.

Appearance: Akaza is a very toned, fit young man who appears physically 18, hes 5'8 so just a bit taller than average, he has white skin, short spiky pink hair, pink eyelashes and blue eyes with golden irises, his whole body is covered in blue line tattoos that resemble criminal brands, he wears an open pink vest, and baggy white pants with a blue belt, he doesnt wear shoes.

Abilities: as a demon Akaza is naturally immortal, and due to how many people he's eaten and how strong he's gotten Akaza can regenerate entire limbs and chunks of his body instantly, the only way to kill him is if he stands in the sunlight, or if his head is cut off by a nichirin weapon

Akaza's physical abilities are incredible, he is so strong he can knock people through several walls with one blow and move so fast the untrained eye can't see him, he also never gets tired and can keep fighting and regenerating forever

Akaza is extremely skilled in a martial art called Soryu, which is a form of kung fu, his fighting is very animated, and he can even fight proficiently in mid-air, he uses punches and kicks but also backfists, knife hand, and chopping, as a demon he named his martial art Destructive death because he forgot its original name

Akaza's blood demon art is "destructive death" which revolves around his martial arts, his attacks will sometimes be charged up with blue energy, which can explode and create building smashing shock waves

He has a technique named bell splitter which has him striking the side of a blade while it moves, enabling him to easily snap the swords of his opponent

His most used technique is compass needle, he takes a stance and focuses which creates a glowing snowflake shaped compass beneath him, it allows him to focus on sensing the fighting spirit of everyone around him, even if they're behind him, hiding, or far away, he can sense the presences and spirit of anyone, unless they bear absolutely no malice

Akaza can create long range shockwaves with both his fists and feet, he can use heavier blows to create large more destructive attacks, or create hundreds of projectiles by striking the air many times in succession

His strongest technique is "blue silver chaotic afterglow" which has him standing in place and summoning his compass, and sending hundreds of strikes in every direction so quickly that it looks like he's facing every direction at once, his blows create hundreds of air blasts that destroy everything around him completely

Akaza can turn people into demons by having them drink his blood
