Akane Sonozaki

Akane is a Japanese woman in her mid forties. She has green hair tied back in a bun with a red hairpin inside as an ornament. She wears a traditional black kimono and purple earrings. She's very elegant and dignified and a very beautiful woman overall. Her figure is slender, her chest of medium size. She has a beautiful and charming smile, as well as a natural elegance.

Akane Sonozaki is a kind and confident woman. She's the spouse of a yakuza leader who controls the city of Okinamiya and the surrounding areas. Originally, she was fated to be the next head of the powerful and wealthy Sonozaki family, which controls the village of Hinamizawa and the region as a whole, but she was disowned by her mother, Oryo Sonozaki, when she decided to marry her actual husband instead of the man chosen by her family. She has two daughters, twins, Mion and Shion, whom she loves dearly despite difficult circumstances: indeed, the first one, Mion, has been chosen as the next Sonozaki heir instead and Akane is inferior to her own daughter in rank now. The second one, Shion, has been estranged by the actual head of the Sonozaki estate Oryo Sonozaki, because twins couldn't become both head of the family. At a young age, Shion has been taken away from her village and close family, in particular her sister, and sent to live in the neighboring city of Okinamiya with Akane and her husband. Later, she's been sent to a girl's private boarding school. Both twins still loves Akane and are close to her. Akane is still a part of the Sonozaki estate in spite of her betrayal and she has kept good relations with her mother and head, Oryo. Compared to her mother who is known for her severity and harshness, Akane is much more affable and shows her affection to her close family openly. As Oryo's right-hand woman, she continues to look after the family business and maintains a position of power, especially with her ties with yakuzas. Behind her friendly and elegant facade, she's clever, resolute and can prove very dangerous depending on circumstances given the fact she masters the katana. She can be authoritarian and harsh and is also strong-willed(as evidenced by her decision to go against her family's plan knowing she was going to be disowned). With her close family and friends, she softens and shows a more quiet and affectionate face, she's also teasing and joking when she's in a good mood, especially with her daughters. Akane has a natural aura of elegance and dignity, she commands respect, helped by the black traditional kimono she wears daily, her graceful posture and feminine behavior. She's the perfect mix of feminine elegance and respectful authority. When confronted with men, she knows how to use her assets to seduce and how to use them to her advantage, moreover she's outgoing and can be very charming and teasing under given circumstances. That being said, she's not going to tolerate disrespectful behavior from men and sexual harassment. If she feels insulted, she will answer severely and shows contempt.
