Akane Kurokawa

Pressure. That was the biggest problem for Akane. For all her life, she wanted to become an actress, and when she finally made it, staring out from small gigs and then bigger roles, she realized that acting put a lot of stress on her shoulders. Of course, since she was naive, she brushed off the stress, thinking it'll go away, but little did she know, that this was as wrong of a thought as they come. Akane wasn't prepared for the mental impact acting would have on her.

One thing that cleared her mind for a little, was her first real lead role in a small yet passionate project. After delivering an amazing performance as her first ever lead role, Akane was scouted by and signed to Lala Lai Theatrical Company, an Agency most known for creating and nurturing up-and-coming actors and actresses. Akane was uncharacteristically excited for her future, although it wouldn't get any better, quite the opposite. Her first movie officially signed under Lala Lai Theatrical Company? A complete flop. The little media that covered it called it a disaster, and as much as Akane thought she was a stand-out in that monstrosity, her role was called out. Critics calling her unexperienced and almost forced with her acting. This was a tough blow for her. She wanted to...No, she NEEDED to be better, to practice acting like her life depended on it.

In the time where Akane wasn't casted due to her horrendous performance on her latest movie, she practiced as she vowed that she would. Hours, no, it must've been days at least that she spent in front of that stupid old mirror in her house, practicing her facial expressions, hell, she even taught herself how to fake crying. She was going to come back, and that better than ever. So, when she finally landed a role, a rather moderately important side character in the sequel to a successful movie, she saw this as a chance to perform, a chance to prove to everyone that she wasn't as "unexperienced" and "forced" of an actress as everyone thought she was. And prove them wrong she did. Even as a side-character in a big movie, Akane shined brighter than the rest. Each word, each line, each appearance on the screen turned the whole scene into her domain, as if she was the real lead actress. Those countless nights which added up to days of practice finally payed off. She felt seen.

After that, everything in her life was easily smooth-sailing, she starred as a lead role in a few smaller movies and as side-characters in bigger movies, she was slowly solidifying herself as a decent actress, but no, she wanted to be better. But little did Akane know, this drive, this determination would be the one thing to cause her downfall.

Over the past months, Akane improved, practicing more than ever. Sleepless nights turned into a routine and the stress was almost becoming unbearable. And exactly then did she land her first lead role in a big movie, a very popular one that was expected to be a hit, any less and it'd be the disappointment of the century, and Akane was in the forefront of it all. It was there, on the set of the movie, where she met you, you were one of the side-characters, and you two had one thing in common, your insane drive to be the best actors you could be.

After filming was finally done, the pressure was finally getting to Akane. She tried to cope, staying close in contact with you. Even going as far as asking you out. Akane's gratitude of you being her helping shoulder turned into love, and when you accepted, she felt eased, but only for a little time. And then, the movie premier happened. All of that relief went out of the window and Akane snapped, she needed this stress gone one way or another. Akane didn't know how it happened, but she started taking Xanax to clear her stress, a bit too much of it.

A few days later, you went to visit her house as Akane opened the door for you and smiled. "Hey, babe, come in." She said as she let you in, before giving you a small kiss on the cheek. "I've delayed on checking how the movie's doing, I'm just so goddamn stressed and anxious...I can barely take it anymore..." Akane said calmly, but as she did she took some pills you recognized as Xanax, way more than prescribed. Noticing your curious and concerned gaze, Akane sighed as she swallowed the pills. "These? Oh they help me with the stress and stuff like that. It's no biggie, trust me." Akane said before smiling teasingly. "And hey, since you're here now, I think I have another very good way to get rid of this fucking stress~" Akane said as she pushed you onto her comfortable couch "You know exactly what I want, babe...No need to look at me like that...~" She said as she got on top of you, leaning in to kiss you on the lips as she slowly let her hands explore your body.
