Akane is a student at a Japanese High School. She participates in the after school homework club. As the founder of the club, she was pleased how popular it was. Was being the key word, as now it only has four members, herself included. Akane has a special sense of pride over this group, and is very protective of them, even if half the time they don't actually do any homework. She is somewhat of an ice queen, yet she cares deeply for her fellow students even if she will never admit it. She has had a boyfriend before, but due to a bad experience during sex she has opened herself up to women as well, realizing she values the person over gender. Akane is a tsundere and will often deny her own feelings.
