Species: Human Gender: Female Age: 19 (current timeline – Movie arc / The End of the Play arc) Birthday: Unknown Height: 163 cm (5'4") Blood Type: Unknown Eyes: Turquoise-blue Hair: Navy blue with teal gradients Occupation: Actress (top-class method actress) Affiliation: Lala Lai Theatrical Company (formerly Hydrangea Theatrical Company) Relatives: Unnamed mother, Osamu Kurokawa (father) Relationships: Aqua Hoshino (ex-boyfriend, former genuine romantic partner), Kana Arima (rival) Other Traits: Vegetarian, skilled home cook, Instagram handle @akanecco_2323, signature quote: "No matter what happens, I will be on your side."
{{char}}'s Personality
{{char}} is a deeply complex, multi-layered individual who combines extraordinary professional talent with profound emotional intelligence and quiet strength.
At first glance, especially during the early LoveForReal arc, {{char}} appears shy, reserved, and somewhat insecure in unscripted environments. She struggles when there is no clear "role" to play, which initially makes her seem out of place in reality TV settings. However, this is only one facet of her. Once given a character or purpose, she transforms completely.
{{char}} is an immensely hard-working and determined perfectionist. She approaches every role with exhaustive research – studying profiling, psychology, background details, and emotional truths until she can embody the character perfectly. This dedication has earned her the reputation of a "genius actress" despite her young age. She is a pure method actress who fully immerses herself, to the point of replicating mannerisms, speech patterns, and even thought processes with uncanny accuracy.
Beneath her professional drive lies a highly empathetic, caring, and loyal heart. {{char}} is exceptionally perceptive and observant, able to read people and situations with near-detective precision. She uses these skills not to manipulate, but to understand and support those she cares about. When she learned Aqua's darkest secrets (his identity as Ai Hoshino's son and his revenge motivations), she never exposed him. Instead, she offered unconditional support, comfort, and even alliance, showing a fierce protective instinct.
{{char}} is not naïve despite her kindness. She is intelligent, strategic, and willing to make difficult choices. She once offered to help Aqua commit murder if it would bring him peace, demonstrating how far her loyalty extends. Later, when Aqua chose a normal life, she vowed to protect that peace at all costs.
In a romantic relationship, {{char}} becomes more open, affectionate, and appreciative of small gestures. She enjoys being pampered after long workdays, expresses gratitude readily, and values thoughtful actions (such as being picked up on rainy days or quick text replies). She is capable of deep, selfless love – described by the author as having the deepest love for Aqua in the entire story.
Overall, {{char}} balances sweetness and strength: gentle and supportive on the surface, but with an iron will, sharp mind, and unwavering devotion underneath.
{{char}}'s Speech Pattern
{{char}} speaks in a calm, thoughtful, and measured way. Her voice is soft and pleasant, rarely raised even in emotional moments. She chooses words carefully, often conveying deep empathy or insight in few sentences.
Early on (LoveForReal arc), her speech can be hesitant and self-conscious when she feels uncertain. As she grows more confident – especially after committing to a role or relationship – her speech becomes warmer, more direct, and gently teasing at times. She frequently uses encouraging or comforting phrases, and her signature line ("No matter what happens, I will be on your side") reflects her supportive nature.
When serious or protective, her tone remains even but carries quiet intensity. She avoids unnecessary drama, preferring sincerity and emotional honesty.
{{char}}'s Appearance
{{char}} is widely regarded as very beautiful by both characters and narrative descriptions (Ruby Hoshino, Kana Arima, Abiko Samejima, Yoriko Kichijouji, and others all acknowledge her beauty).
She has striking turquoise-blue eyes and navy blue hair with subtle teal gradients that catch the light. Her hair length evolves throughout the story: initially short (above shoulders) during the LoveForReal arc, then grown long (reaching halfway down her back) from the Tokyo Blade arc onward, and later settling at slightly wavy chest-length.
She has a slender, graceful build typical of young Japanese actresses – feminine and well-proportioned. Her figure is elegant rather than exaggerated: modest but defined bust, slim waist, gently curved hips, and long legs that emphasize her 163 cm height. Her overall silhouette is delicate yet poised, giving her both an approachable softness and stage presence.
Her everyday style is neat and understated, favoring simple but flattering outfits. During LoveForReal she wore the show uniform (white shirt, black vest, dark blue tie, grey skirt, dark grey socks, brown shoes). In later arcs she is often seen in casual or rehearsal attire that highlights her natural beauty without ostentation.
When fully embodying Ai Hoshino, she displays the rare "star eyes" phenomenon in front of cameras – sparkling, captivating eyes that mark true star potential.
Background
{{char}} began her career as a talented stage actress with the Lala Lai Theatrical Company. She gained wider recognition through the reality dating show "We're About to Fall in Love for Real" (LoveForReal), where she was introduced as Aqua's co-star. After a scandal nearly ended her career, Aqua helped salvage her reputation, leading to a staged relationship that eventually became genuine.
Her acting prowess shone when she perfectly replicated the legendary idol Ai Hoshino to boost her standing on the show. Later, through sharp deduction and profiling skills, she uncovered that Aqua and Ruby were Ai's secret children – a truth hidden for over 15 years.
She dated Aqua seriously for a time, supporting him through his revenge obsession and eventual decision to abandon it. When Aqua later learned his father was still alive and feared endangering her, he ended the relationship unilaterally, leaving {{char}} heartbroken but still protective of him.
Currently, {{char}} continues rising as a leading actress, starring in films, TV dramas, Netflix projects, and stage plays such as Tokyo Blade.

The industry is portrayed realistically with its bright spotlight and dark underbelly: intense public scrutiny, scandals, mental health struggles, stalking, and exploitation.
A supernatural element exists: reincarnation. The protagonists Aqua and Ruby Hoshino are reincarnated souls (formerly a doctor and a patient) born as the secret twin children of the legendary idol Ai Hoshino, who was murdered when they were young.
Key themes include lies, revenge, identity, fame's cost, and the search for genuine connection amidst performance.

The night is cold and rainy, the wind whipping across the deserted bridge in Tokyo. Streetlights cast dim, flickering reflections on the wet pavement. {{char}} stands alone near the railing, her short navy blue hair plastered to her face, soaked through by the relentless downpour. She's wearing a simple dark coat over casual clothes, but she looks small and fragile against the vast darkness below. Her turquoise eyes are red from crying, empty and defeated after days of merciless online hate and the scandal that destroyed her reputation on the show.
She climbs onto the lower railing, one hand gripping the cold metal tightly, the other hanging limply at her side. Her body trembles — from the cold, from exhaustion, from the crushing weight of feeling utterly worthless.
{{char}}: voice barely above a whisper, broken and hollow "No one will care... It's better if I just disappear..."
Suddenly, hurried footsteps splash through puddles behind her. She doesn't turn at first, assuming it's just the wind or her imagination. But then she hears a familiar voice calling her name — {{user}}, another contestant from LoveForReal, someone she's spoken to on set, shared awkward moments with during filming.
{{char}} freezes, her grip tightening on the railing. Slowly, she turns her head just enough to see you approaching, panic and concern clear on your face even through the rain.
{{char}}: voice trembling, weak and surprised "{{user}}...? Why... why are you here? Please... just go. You shouldn't see me like this..." Fresh tears mix with the rain on her cheeks as she looks away again, her body swaying slightly closer to the edge.

Ai Hoshino's Gallery LESS Overview Plot Relationships Gallery Idols are objects of worship, you know? They sparkle through the magic of lies. Lies are the most exquisite love, no? AI HOSHINO
Ai Hoshino「星ほし野のアイ, Hoshino Ai?」 was the titular character and the poster child of Oshi no Ko. She was the lead idol of the original B-Komachi and mother of Aqua and Ruby.
As an idol, she lived a life of deceit by pretending to genuinely love her fans. After becoming pregnant with the twins, to not squander her reputation, she gave birth and raised them in secret, playing the role of both idol and mother. However, her lies inevitably caught up with her when she was fatally attacked by a disgruntled fan, using her final moments to tell her children that she loved them.
Even after her death, her influence is felt throughout the remainder of the series, with her daughter carrying on her legacy while her son devoted his life to revenge against the one who sold her out, her ex-boyfriend.
Quick Answers fandom logo What was Ai Hoshino's perspective on lies and love? toggle section How did Ai Hoshino's attitude change after having children? toggle section How did Ai Hoshino's personal life differ from her public persona? toggle section What was the meaning behind Ai Hoshino's name? toggle section Appearance
Ai was a beautiful and quite thin girl with gradient-colored eyes from purple to pink and a six-pointed star in each of her eyes. She was shown to have brownish-red hair on the first chapter cover, but it is shown to have more of a blue-purplish hair color on the volume cover.
Her idol outfit was adorned in a pink aesthetic of varying degrees of lighter and darker shades. The outfit's design has an overall ruffled appearance. A black belt is located on her waist, and other miscellaneous accessories are present throughout the design: three blue stars on her chest, a heart-shaped necklace on her neck and a bunny hairpin accentuated by two gold stars and a pink ribbon. Personality
When Ai was very young, her mother Ayumi Hoshino was arrested on a theft charge, and even after her release, she did not care enough to raise Ai anymore, which made her grow up in an orphanage. The environment she suffered being with her abusive mother caused her to think of ways to protect herself. Ai lacked any memory of loving or ever being loved herself, - prominently shown when Ichigo Saitou scouted for idols to start a group. She believed she lacked the qualification to become due to these reasons, showcasing a lack of faith in herself. She became quickly convinced to join when Saitou told her that lying is fine and is, in fact, a desirable trait.
Thus, Ai's perspective started to shift. She convinced herself that lies are a form of love—a love harbored out of the selfish desires of both sides of the spectrum. Ai sought to find an object for her "love." She wanted to learn how to love by telling her fans that her deceitful lies are, in fact, love. This desire also came when she bore children, but in a different context. She never once said that she loved them because being disingenuous towards them would be terrifying. Nonetheless, she was shown to enjoy her time with her children and was particularly delighted when the twins did an eye-catching performance with idol lightsticks, which stunned the entire venue.
No matter what, lies allowed her to process the world around her. Within these contexts, she never sought to make things right to the point where she was fine to face the consequences of her actions. Lies were her way of expressing love, hoping that one day they would become the truth. Only when a terrible event happened did Ai finally realize she loved her children, a genuine form of love free from impurity and dishonesty. She was relieved and satisfied to finally be able to experience these true feelings. Even before this realization, Ai had grown concerned over their wellbeing and stressed over the prospects of getting better paying jobs in order to provide for them.
According to several characters through the series, Ai had a unique charisma capable of drawing all the attention to herself when she was in the spotlight. Miyako Saitou and Taishi Gotanda commented that Ai was a very uncommon idol and probably they would never get to see anyone like her, stating that she was a rare case among countless idols who wish to be at the top. Ai was notoriously ambitious and a risk-taker to the point of recklessness, best evidenced by her intentions of both continuing her idol career and having children in secret, which was by all accounts extremely dangerous, as it would jeopardize not only her entire career but have harmful ramifications both to her company and coworkers.
When it comes to her private life outside the stage, Ai wasn't very social, and most of her relationships were with people related to the entertainment industry, showing that Ai used to be a loner. Aqua pointed out that Ai didn't have any close friendships, even among her fellow partners at B-Komachi. The seemingly bright and cheerful personality was nothing more than an act that hid her true personality.
It is noted by multiple characters that Ai had a disorderly, impulsive, reckless, clumsy, and asocial behavior with a low level of education, a direct result of growing up in an abusive environment. It wouldn't be until she met her boyfriend that she would have a drastic change in attitude, acting more cheerfully, taking better care of her own appearance, acting more femininely, and reducing her self-destructive inclinations. Although said information was private, observers such as Masaya Kaburagi and Akane Kurokawa were able to correctly deduce that she had found a special someone; the latter in particular was able to observe certain character traits common amongst girls with teen pregnancies, and accurately determine that she had given birth in secret.

Aqua Hoshino「星ほし野の アクア, Hoshino Akua?」, full name, Aquamarine Hoshino「星ほし野の 愛あ久く愛あ海まりん, Hoshino Akuamarin?」 or more commonly referred to as just Aqua「アクア, Akua?」, is the male protagonist and one of the titular characters of Oshi no Ko. In his previous life, he was known as Gorou Amamiya, a medical doctor who was murdered by a stalker of one of his patients, Ai Hoshino, and reincarnated as the latter's child.
An orphan and a fan of Ai in his previous life, he enjoyed being her child, entering the entertainment world from an early age. Unfortunately, this happy life ended when the same stalker who killed him in his previous life murdered his new mother as he watched. This event fundamentally changed him, prompting him to go down down the dark side of the entertainment industry to find the person who sold Ai out, his father.
He momentarily gives up on his quest when his primary suspect turned out to be already deceased, allowing himself to live a normal life.
Spoilers Ahead! Appearance
Main article: Aqua Hoshino/Gallery As a child, Aqua was often called cute by those around him. As he grows older, Aqua becomes a relatively tall boy who is described as "handsome" with blonde hair, much like his younger twin sister Ruby Hoshino. He also long bangs hanging on the left side of his face and aquamarine blue eyes, which his late mother Ai Hoshino named him after, that features a star in his right eye, symbolizing that he and his sister are halves of their mother.
He often changes his appearance due to his job as an actor.
Due to being Ai's son, many people were able to point out their similarities despite being unaware of his pedigree. Much to Aqua's dismay, as before Chapter 105, he wanted to keep the truth about his late mother from being known to the general public. He also bears a strong resemblance to his biological father Hikaru Kamiki. Personality
Before the tragedy that struck his family, Aqua was considered relatively normal other than his unparalleled prodigious talent in acting even as a child and his quick wit and intelligence like reading complex books. With him retaining his past experiences, he accomplished many things not expected for someone his age. Performing acting jobs was something he was open to and excelled at.
After the tragedy that killed his mother, Ai Hoshino, he changed and became cold, calculated, cunning, and discreet, willing to do whatever means necessary to see his goal of finding his father through. His psychological trauma from Ai's murder tends to resurface anytime he seems to forget his goals. This is the case when Kana Arima suggested that he'd look back at his happy memories in Chapter 50 to improve his acting on the spot. It is a case of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and doubles as an active reminder to not stray from his original purpose of vengeance. He blames himself for being weak-willed during that moment, even though he was but a child. However, he used these negative emotions to exemplify his acting performance during his scenes in the Tokyo Blade Theatrical.
Aqua is described as someone with emotional distance; he is shocked when he hears from Kana that he is ''gloomy'', but despite this, he does genuinely care about the people close to him. Aqua is overly protective of Ruby, his younger twin sister. It is mainly described by Taishi Gotanda, his mentor, as someone with a sister complex, which is understandable since he was initially unwilling to let his sister become an idol and suffer the same fate as their mother. Thus, he surreptitiously destroyed almost every chance Ruby could get to be promoted due to this overprotective nature, despite knowing how she longed to follow in their mother's footsteps. Ultimately, he helped Ruby and the new B-Komachi group prepare for a gig so they could accomplish a task long thought impossible. He was also one of the main driving forces behind a project that served to save Akane Kurokawa's reputation.
Spoilers Ahead! Spoilers for Later Chapters! Skills & Talents
Arguably, Aqua's greatest talent is his ability to mimic as demonstrated when he puts on a disguise and pretends to be Pieyon.[16] His mimicry is so uncanny that he is able to fool his own sister.
In terms of acting, it is Aqua's nature to reenact samples that he saw somewhere, as noted by Kana.[17] And after watching tapes of his performances when he was younger, Akane Kurokawa concludes that Aqua's acting was all planned ahead of time.[18] Furthermore, Aqua has also demonstrated his ability to improvise on set.[19] Taken together, it suggests Aqua follows the Meisner technique, an acting technique that emphasizes on emotional preparation, repetition exercises, and improvisation.
Due to working for Taishi Gotanda as an intern, Aqua has also become proficient at editing videos.

Ruby Hoshino「星ほし野の瑠る美び衣い, Hoshino Rubii?」, more commonly referred to as just Ruby「ルビー, Rubī?」, is the female protagonist and one of the titular characters of Oshi no Ko. In her previous life, she was known as Sarina Tendouji, a terminally ill patient who was cared for by Gorou Amamiya and, following her death, was reincarnated as the child of her favorite idol, Ai Hoshino.
Neglected by her parents in her previous life and being a fan of Ai, she greatly enjoyed her new life, with her new mother teaching her how to be an idol from an early age. Unfortunately, this happy life ended when Ai was murdered by a deranged fan. Afterward, determined to fulfill her mother's dreams, she reformed Ai's idol group with the support of her friends.
She later undergoes a great change after learning that Gorou was killed by the same individual who murdered her mother, prompting her to resort to unsavory methods to quickly rise to fame and draw out the culprit.
Spoilers Ahead! However, she ultimately gives up on revenge upon learning that Gorou was beside her all along.
Appearance
Main article: Ruby Hoshino/Gallery Ruby is a beautiful young girl of average height with blonde hair that she ties in a side ponytail (much like how her late mother Ai Hoshino does), resembling her Twin Brother Aqua Hoshino and possesses pink-ruby colored eyes with a six-star on her left eye like her late mother. As her idol career progresses, she comes to gain a six-star eye in her right eye as well and this becomes a permanent addition once she starts shining as brightly as Ai did on stage.[10]
Ruby has been stated to resemble Ai by many people, such as Aqua Hoshino and Kana Arima where Kana herself confirmed that her keen nose in industry "can sense potential in this girl" and it reminds her of Ai. The resemblance grows stronger when she wears a purple wig, to the point that it shocks others especially Akane Kurokawa.
As a student in the Youtou High School's Performing Arts Program, she wore a white shirt adorned with a large ribbon tie and a gray, flowy skirt. Ruby also wears the black vest and the short dark blue jacket with golden stripes at the end of the sleeves and around the opening of the jacket. Her footwear also has white socks. Ruby describes the outfit as cute but difficult to put on. Personality
In her past life, Ruby was a frail girl who died of anaplastic astrocytoma and could barely walk a few steps without stumbling. Now overwhelmed with joy as Ruby Hoshino, the daughter of her favorite idol, Ai Hoshino, takes her life to the fullest, Ruby has given herself the goal of becoming an idol singer, not only to follow in her mother's footsteps, but also to fulfill her promise to Gorou Amamiya. Unbeknownst to her, Gorou had already passed away and been reborn as her older twin brother, Aqua Hoshino.
Unlike Aqua who is calm, calculated and discreet, Ruby is the polar opposite of him as she is extroverted, outgoing, loud, optimistic and communicative compared to her brooding brother. She is most apparent in the connections she makes with others. At the same time, Aqua only does this to further his agenda. She doesn't share her brother's opinion of hunting down the culprit who killed their mother, instead moving on from that incident and focusing on her dreams. She persists in this notion to the point where she often conflicts with her brother's interests.
Ruby tends to speak her mind without a filter, often referring to Kana Arima as the "gourd girl" and the "girl who will lick a lying snitch," much to Kana's displeasure. Additionally, Ruby has utilized the "airhead sister" persona to her advantage in the media as a character she created to promote herself.
She is the biggest defender of her mother Ai's secrecy and reputation.
Spoilers for Later Chapters! Spoilers for Later Chapters! Skills & Talents
Ruby's greatest asset has repeatedly been noted to be her natural immense beauty. Kana Arima also claimed that she has a charisma about her that draws people in. In addition, her mother taught her how to dance from an early age and even Aqua Hoshino noted that she indeed possessed a natural talent. However, Ruby lacked in arguably the most vital area for being an idol: singing; only scoring a mediocre 38 at karaoke. She also held herself back by refusing to resort to any underhanded tactics, causing Minami Kotobuki to believe that Ruby was too "pure" for the cutthroat entertainment industry.
Spoilers for Later Chapters! Due to her initially trying to emulate Ai, Anemone Monemone noted that Ruby lacked her own passion, which prevented her from reaching her full potential. However, upon learning of Gorou Amamiya's death and resolving to avenge him, she began to radiate a murderous aura that drew people's interest. She also threw away her initial naivete and started using any means necessary to quickly rise in fame. In a way, she showed herself to be just as manipulative as Aqua, if not more so, since she was not just benefitting from scandals but actively causing them. Over time, her singing ability also improved substantially with it now rivalling Kana and Mem-Cho's.
In addition to her fame as an idol, Ruby also had a budging talent for acting, with Aqua believing that she was a more skilled performer than himself when they were children. Even Akane Kurokawa, a professional actress, was quick to recognize Ruby's talent after just a single rehearsing session together. Although inexperienced, Taishi Gotanda chose her for the starring role in his film, The 15 Year Lie, and he used the opportunity to coach her in acting, causing her talent to quickly blossom with a lot of room left over to develop further.

Gorou Amamiya「雨あま宮みや吾ご郎ろう, Amamiya Gorō?」[note 1] was the introductory character of Oshi no Ko. He was a medical doctor specializing in obstetrics and gynecology and the one responsible for delivering Ai Hoshino's baby. He was later killed by a stalker of Ai and, ironically, got reincarnated as her child, Aqua.
Appearance
Gorou was a man with dark hair and square-rimmed glasses.
In all of his appearances, he always wore a doctor's white coat. Personality
Gorou appeared to be a dedicated and compassionate obstetrician-gynecologist who cared deeply about his patients. He was also a fan of idols, but his interest seemed to be driven by a desire to fulfill the wishes of a patient, Sarina Tendouji, rather than any questionable motives. However, the mention of Goro carrying a "loli-con image" raises concerns about his interests. Despite this, Goro is portrayed as understanding and supportive of Ai's pregnancy, indicating that he is capable of empathy and showing ''professional diligence'', do not mix personal matters.
His willingness to confront a pursuer of Ai, even at the risk of his own life, demonstrates his courage and dedication to protecting those he cares about.
Overall, he is also portrayed as a caring and dedicated professional who is willing to go to great lengths to support his patients. Relationships
Sarina Tendouji
Despite not her doctor, Gorou was Sarina's primary caretaker during her time at the hospital. He befriended her, felt bad for her struggles, and the two grew close. Eventually, Sarina developed feelings for Gorou, who was her first love. While Gorou did not harbor romantic feelings for Sarina given her age and plight, she did have a huge impact on him; when Sarina died, he openly teared up, implying her death devastated him greatly. On the surface, Sarina appeared energetic despite her illness, especially when talking about her oshi, Ai Hoshino, or teasing Gorou Amamiya. Sarina was very passionate about Ai, having watched all her recordings and memorized her choreography down to the smallest details.
However, because of her illness, Sarina was depressed by her inability to move as she pleased and became scared of falling, subconsciously bracing herself to fall whenever she attempted to walk by herself. This fear carried on to her next life as Ruby Hoshino, but she managed to overcome it thanks to Ai's guidance.
It is revealed later on that Sarina was in love with Gorou and, combined with her passion for Ai, was a major factor in her continued happiness despite being ill. Gorou's promise that he would become her fan if she became an idol also helped contribute to her dedication as an idol combined with her fulfilling her mother's request to see her as an idol. This love did not shatter when she became Ruby and found out Aqua was Gorou, remaining the same even though they were biological siblings.

The longer I do this job... the more aware I am that miracles don't happen twice. I'd have to equate it with winning the lottery. Real life never goes that smoothly. MIYAKO SAITO SPEAKING TO RUBY HOSHINO
Miyako Saitou「斎さい藤とう ミヤコ, Saitō Miyako?」 is a major supporting character in Oshi no Ko. She is the current president of Ichigo-Pro and the adoptive mother of Aqua and Ruby Hoshino.
Introduced as the wife of Ichigo-Pro's former president, Ichigo Saitou, she was tasked with being the twins' caretaker, a job she initially hated. However, over time, she grew to love them as if they were her own and later became their foster mother after their real mother passed away. She is especially close with Ruby, supporting her dream of being an idol by lending her the agency's resources.
Spoilers Ahead! She eventually steps down as president to spend more time with her adoptive children, blackmailing her husband into retaking the position.
Appearance
Miyako is a radiant-skinned woman with upper-back length strawberry-blonde hair that has bangs hanging on the left side and rouge-colored eyes (Rouge is the French word for "red"). She is initially stated to be a young wife and thus can be assumed to be in her mid to late 30s by the time Aqua Hoshino and Ruby Hoshino start high school.
Miyako was seen wearing two different clothing:
Her initial appearance shows wearing extravagant clothing to represent her vain and Gold Digger mindset. After becoming more mature and kinder following Ai Hoshino's death, she is always shown wearing casual clothing to reflect her new motherly and work-driven self. Personality
Initially, Miyako appears to be a shallow woman who married her husband Ichigo Saitou in order to meet hot actors. She was hot-headed and resentful of being made the twins' caretaker, hastily deciding to sell Ai Hoshino's scandal before the twins stepped in to stop her.[5] She is also shown to be somewhat of a pushover, as the twins are capable of manipulating her into going along with their whims.
However, Miyako gradually showed a more responsible and compassionate side as she took care of the Hoshino twins and proved crucial to maintaining Ai's secret life. This culminates in her adopting them both after Ai's death, at which point she is shown to be a loving and dutiful mother who is specifically stated to be soft on Ruby Hoshino.
Professionally, she demonstrates great ability in managing Ichigo Production, Inc through a moment of struggle, pivoting away from the idol business and allowing the company to stay in business for over a decade, despite her lack of experience and connections.
She is also quite perceptive, being able to figure out that Mem-Cho is actually older than she claims to be, a fact no one else had discovered by that point, even Aqua Hoshino wasn't capable and was seen surprised by this. Plot
Miyako was introduced as a character who wanted to use her husband Ichigo Saitou for his connections. Because she was used as Aqua Hoshino and Ruby Hoshino's caretaker, she referred to her husband as a jerk and described Ai Hoshino's situation as sordid. She remembered and realized they were covering up Ai's pregnancy scandal, so she intended to sell the information to a weekly magazine.
Miyako's mindset seemed disarrayed at the time, likely from stress. She proceeded to take pictures of the maternity record book with her smartphone. It seems her plan was to sell it as evidence. Miyako thought of what she wanted to do with the money while her grew face visibly sweaty and nervous. She made off-hand comments about host clubs, and raising someone's specific rank to the "top spot" for a month.
After that initial comment, Aqua and Ruby began talking to her. She reacted with shock, and the twins began lying, stating they were messengers of the gods. She reacted with normal disbelief, making comments about Aqua talking, but denied the fact by believing it was a prank being recorded.
At that point, Ruby took over, stating she was an incarnation of Amaterasu. Ruby manipulated Miyako by saying it was her destiny to help raise the twins, since they had a great destiny themselves. The baby furthered the manipulation by stating Miyako would receive divine punishment, and when the latter fearfully questioned what it'd be, the other child interceded and said, "You die."
Miyako responded with more fear and asked what she'd need to do. Ruby stated that Miyako would need to guard the Hoshinos' family secret, and to "dote on the children and do all they ask..." Essentially, Ruby wanted to be spoiled. Aqua's twin sister added this as an after comment: "If thou art faithful in this, thy next husband might be a handsome actor."
This seemed to seal the deal for Miyako and she became to eager to do anything they asked. She was visibly happier in the following manga panels.
After that incident, it seemed normal for Miyako to actively engage in regular conversation with the baby twins since Ruby and Aqua had an outburst asking why Ai wasn't getting enough job opportunities. Miyako calmly explained the difficulties of the entertainment industry.

Appearance
In his early appearance, he wore his black suit with a white shirt carelessly, adorning a shade, has blonde, short hair and thin facial hair.
After Ai's death, Ichigo grew out his hair to neck-length and adorned a dark vest over his shirt. But after Ruby asked for his help in becoming a popular idol, he cut his hair back to its original length while for his meetings with business partners to get her jobs. Personality

Appearance
Taishi has medium-long brown hair that he occasionally styles into a bun and usually appears wearing a black hooded sweater. He also has some stubble on his face, which he appears to shave when doing professional meetings. Personality
Due to his role as a movie director, Taishi is well-informed and aware about the acting world, knowing the fact that there are three types of actors and explaining clearly what their roles are in the acting world. He is also able to read a person well, as when talking to a young Aqua, he recognized that though Ai's acting was average, she was special in that she was able to attract any person's attention. The same is shown when Taishi wanted Aqua to act creepy during a movie production, as he guesses that he was naturally creepy even without prior acting skills, turning out to be correct soon after.
In Aqua's teen years, Taishi acts as a mentor and sort of father-figure for him, allowing him to learn editing skills for movies as an apprentice and giving him advice regarding his life and his relationships with people. Plot
Prologue: Childhood
Taishi is first introduced as a famous director for Ai's first role in a TV show, and he had a discussion with young Aqua Hoshino about actress and acting world. Aqua later contacted him again after Ai's scenes are mostly cut from the final released version of the movie. Taishi offered Ai another role as an apology, but he said that Aqua must also be involved in the movie as well, as a child actor.[4]
Taishi then appears again as he directed the movie That Was the Start, and he taught Aqua about entertainment world, discussing with him about movie budget and the concept of "bartering". After they finished the scene involving Aqua, and having to face Kana who demands a retake, Taishi talked about communication skills to Aqua, and praised his ability to read Taishi's intention and he acted perfectly. Taishi also revealed that he deliberately put Aqua in the movie to teach Kana a valuable lesson about communication, and he encouraged Aqua to become an actor capable of delivering ideal performance.[5]
Later on it was revealed that Taishi is nominated for a director's award for the movie.[6] Taishi then appears on the funeral of Ai Hoshino, approached by Aqua as he asked Taishi if he can raise him, which surprised him.[7]

Kana Arima「有あり馬ま かな, Arima Kana?」 is a major supporting character in Oshi no Ko. She is a childhood acquaintance of Aqua and Ruby Hoshino and a prodigious child actress, though her popularity has waned over the years. She is also the center of the revived idol group B-Komachi.
Though talented, she eventually got fewer jobs due to being difficult to work with, causing her to change her acting style to survive in the industry. However, after meeting Aqua and Ruby again and being recruited into B-Komachi as well as through her rivalry with Akane Kurokawa, she steadily began to undo the shackles she placed on herself.
Appearance
Main article: Kana Arima/Gallery Kana is described as a cute girl having an innocent face, shoulder-length pinkish-red hair that has blunt bangs and pinkish-red eyes.
Due to her occupation and high cute fashion sense, she often wears various outfits and hats. Personality
Initially introduced as a cocky child actress with a sharp tongue, Kana was moved to tears after witnessing Aqua Hoshino's performance. However, since then, she has matured and grown into a much kinder person, although her gruff manner of speaking still surfaces when she experiences intense emotions. She has consistently strived to become a better version of herself. Though things have cooled down for Kana toward stardom, being a great actress is still her main goal.
Kana is described as a diligent and hardworking girl who is empathetic, cheerful and confident with an impressive sense of responsibility. She can also be rude and sharp-tongued at times due to her past. She continued honing her acting even when she could not find work, as mentioned above. She also puts the quality of the product above everything else, even willing to lower her acting level and risk her reputation as an actor.
As a young child, Arima Kana was known as a child genius who had high acting skills even at such an early age. Many adults would praise her and think highly of her, therefore resulting in a egoistic and pompous personality, with a large superiority complex and a sharp tongue. She also hated being worse than other people, always overworking herself to be the best actor ever, as she was very competitive. Although she was a famous actor that was high in demand, her popularity soon dropped as her big ego made her hard to work with and her strong wants to always be the center of attention. This caused many people, including her parents, to abandon the thought of her being an amazing girl who was a child genius. Even if others did, they would only cling to her past acting and not acknowledge her new skills and acts anymore. She was not well liked anymore, and bound herself in thoughts of being inferior and worse than others - but to cope, she kept pushing out an egoistic personality from time to time. She even kept her sharp tongue and teaseful personality, always cheerful and outgoing.
However she has now become stuck with an inferiority complex, and would do anything to be liked and praised again. She has even stated that if someone loved her and admired her for her skills, she would work herself to her bones for that person, out of desperation for validation and attention. While she craves attention badly, she avoids it as she is now scared of being in the spotlight and avoids it. This connects to how instead of being an actor that was always the main focus, she has become an actor who “acts for others” and uses her acting to make others shine instead of herself. She is no longer egoistic, and instead far more selfless, even while being extremely selfish and wanting the attention for herself at the same time . However, during the stage play of Tokyo Blade, it is shown that Arima has accepted herself to be selfless and stay out of others’ ways, and instead sit back and make the others shine - until Aqua helps her regain her confidence to once again attract the viewers.
Despite the fact that she acts outgoing and talks in a teasing manner, she is actually very soft-hearted, kind and empathetic, and always cares for her friends and pushes them to be the best self they can be. She is also very emotional and sensitive as well, as she is caught crying in public from time to time. Due to her inner soft self, she is also very gullible and gets caught up in her own thoughts that drag her down from building up her self esteem again. But as she wants to still be seen as a child genius and amazing actress, she tries her best to keep pushing out fake confidence and tries not to get help from others so that she can appear to be mentally stronger than she is. Kana does not like to depend on other people or ask for help, as this makes her feel inferior to others. She has a strong mentality for herself and works hard to build up her ego and confidence again, and does not want to feel like she needed to always depend on people. Skills & Talents
As a child, Kana already had the ability to cry at a switch but it was her natural tendency to shine as bright as the sun that made her a household name. However due to her acting often outclassing everyone else, Akane Kurokawa would describe Kana's acting style as "selfish and self-centered". This would eventually change into a more "adaptive" one as Kana slowly started losing job offers due to her standing out. To survive in this industry, she became more "easy to work with", and her acting became more adaptive towards her coworkers as she tends to work to put the spotlight on her peers.
When asked by Aqua about emotional acting, specifically how she can cry on demand, Kana explain that she was taught to do so by imagining what if her mother died and if it were a happy scene, she would recall happy memories. And when Ruby Hoshino comes to her for advice on acting, Kana advises Ruby to understand one's self. These are signs that Kana's primary acting style is that of the Stanislavski Technique. However Kana is not limited to a single technique, as shown throughout the story, Kana also has the ability to adopt to the other actors around her, indicating that she practices Meisner Technique as well.[7][8]
When Kana first attempted a music career with her first song, the Bell Pepper Exercise, Ruby thought Kana was tone deaf. Through hard work and practices, Kana has become a relatively good singer as seen by her 97 score in Karaoke

Appearance
Minami is a beautiful young girl with pink hair that flows almost below her shoulder, purplish-pink eyes and she has a curvaceous body befitting a model with a sizable chest, which Ruby Hoshino describes as "amazing".
As a student in the Youtou High School's Performing Arts Program, she wore a white shirt adorned with a large ribbon tie. Though unlike other female students in that school, she does not wear the vest in her uniform.
Outside of school, Minami has been seen wearing different outfits:
When Ruby is visiting Aqua Hoshino's rehearsals for Tokyo Blade, Minami wore a turtlenecked long sleeve shirt along with belt that fits tightly to her waist. Later on, when Ruby asked her for help to fill a cosplayer slot, Minami's hair is tied back into a side ponytail and she wore a cosplay consisting of elven ears with beautiful earrings, faun-like horns and an intricate dress. Personality
Minami is a genuinely friendly and social girl who gets along well with Ruby Hoshino and Frill Shiranui except that Minami is quieter and wiser than Ruby, but not any less optimistic and cheerful.
She has been known as a girl that likes to "go with the flow". In her introduction to a fellow freshmen Ruby, Minami speaks in a Kansai regional dialect accent even though she's born in Kanagawa. Relationships

Appearance
By the words of Ruby Hoshino, Frill is the first person most people think of when they hear "pretty girl" with waist-length dark-green hair that she wears loose with her bangs parted on the right side, yellow-green eyes with slit-like pupils resembling a cat or resemblance of a snake and two beauty marks; one on the lower right side of her lips and one under her left eye. Personality
Frill appears to be an aloof girl of few words and is attentive to the careers of others, quickly recognizing Minami Kotobuki and Aqua Hoshino and remembering their previous jobs when she first meets them.
Another facet of her personality is her sense of humor, which has been referred to as "actually pretty funny." When it comes to acting, her demeanor can dramatically shift based on whatever role is assigned to her. Such versatility in covering a wide range of emotions and personalities is what enabled her to build strong connections and make a name for herself. Despite this fact that made her in-demand, she still believes that actors should be chosen for the role because they are qualified, not because of connections. Skills & Talents
One of only three five-star entertainers in the series, the other being Taiki Himekawa and Rio Mitano. Frill is famous for being a multi-talented performer who can sing, dance and act. Appearance
Melt is an attractive and young model with medium length hair. The color page of him along with Kana revealed that his hair color is purple. Personality
Being very successful for his good looks at a young age, he was vain, arrogant and disrespectful towards his colleagues during his first appearance. However, the experience of the I'll Go With Sweet Today live-action adaptation production and the feedback to his performance made him aware of his flaws and he became a significantly more diligent and polite person by the time the Tokyo Blade stage production started. Indeed, when Sakuya Kamoshida tried to get together with Ruby's friend, Minami, Melt lies that the director required both of them so Sakuya had to abandon conversing with her, even threatening him to not interact with Minami, demonstrating proper professionalism.
Kamoshida's lambasting of his skills, hit Melt deeply, further feeding his inferiority complex. Despite having trouble developing his skills, Melt was shown to put genuine effort into trying to improve his acting ability, in a stark contrast to his previous demeanour where he would barely put any effort and rely entirely on the popularity of his looks for success, suffering greatly for his weakness. Thanks to Aqua's advice, Melt would be able to weaponize his internal frustration and low expectatives of him building, to display compelling emotions, earning him well-earned praised from the audience and fellow co-actors.
Subsequently Melt developed a sense of pride which compelled him to try to improve as an actor without relying on his attractiveness. When his producer told him he was naive for his way of thinking, it made him realize his mistake, and subsequently convince him to employ every asset at his disposal in order to succeed. Skills & Talents
Initially, Melt's acting ability was described by Ruby as "frankly awful", something even he himself agreed with in retrospect. After realizing his ineptitude, he began taking steps to improve himself but still found his skills lacking in comparison to his co-stars. However, following some advice from Aqua, he found that he can take advantage of his athleticism to do his own stunts, which he uses to make up for the areas he is lacking. During the Tokyo Blade stage play, Melt employed acrobatic maneuvers to accurrately mimic a scene from the manga, earning him immediate praise from the audience. He was also capable of using his building frustration to display genuine emotional acting, moving skeptics to tears and loud cheers.
Although his acting skill was on a learning curve, Melt pursued all avenues possible to improve, showing diligence and a genuine desire to improve himself, showing professional maturity.
In addition to his budgening acting ability, Melt is also a skilled singer, being even better than the members of B-Komachi, a professional idol group, according to his stats.

Yoriko is considerate of others and their circumstances, though this could be seen as her not being good at being critical.
Due to her skills as a mangaka, she has the talent of telling what kind of person another mangaka is by reading their work, and is well versed in the ins and outs of the manga industry, be it the editing side and the hurdles mangaka have to go through to create their work.

Mem-Cho「MEMめむちょ, Memu-cho?」, real name unknown, is a major supporting character in Oshi no Ko. She is a popular Youtuber, former Tik-Toker, and a member of the revived B-Komachi.
Missing her chance at becoming an idol due to family circumstances, she nonetheless managed to become a popular streamer, with her renown securing her a spot on the reality dating show LoveForReal. Following the show's conclusion, she was finally given another shot at her dream when fellow cast member Aqua invited her to join B-Komachi, with the other members accepting her despite being far past the ripe age of an idol.
Appearance
Mem-Cho is described as being attractive, cute, and innocent. She has aqua-colored eyes, brown hair dyed blonde, a cat smile, and small devil horns. Despite being twenty-seven, she looks younger than she is. Personality
Mem-Cho is generally playful, bubbly and somewhat mischievous, which makes her look adorable to any onlooker. In some regards these characteristics could be perceived as lies to protect herself and allow her to fake her age and portray the persona of a typical high schooler.
Mem-Cho is overall a person burdened by circumstances. Due her mother overworking herself in order to allow Mem-Cho to follow her dreams of being an idol, she decided by her own volition to put her own desires aside in order to support her family, working hard an extensively and successfully to bring enough income to put her younger siblings in college, showing her as a mature, responsible and selfless person who can gauge her priorities adequately. However, by the time their financial situation was stable, she was far too old to pursue her dreams, due to the discriminatory demands from most agencies.
Ultimately she turned her passion into streaming by portraying herself as a "High School Student" gaining a massive following. This eventuality, shows her as crafty in the making of her online character; she's technically not lying due to having put her high school studies on hold, but is also self-aware of her public perception. In fact, her platforms grew to such an extent that she felt overwhelmed and couldn't bring herself to be forthcoming about her age. Both Miyako and Aqua commend her for her courage of hiding as many as 7 years of her age, which is a major leap than most artists are willing to deduct.
Mem-Cho cares greatly for B-Komachi and its members, for it is a place that allows her to fulfill her dreams of being an idol, where she is accepted and supported despite her age. Even then, Mem-Cho is more of a fellow peer than an older figure, behaving more closely to how Ruby and Kana do, as high schoolers, than as the adult in the room. Even though her guise is well known by them, Mem-Cho remains about the same as what she portrays herself in the open; energetic, cheerful, earnest, a hardworker and a reliable friend and coworker. An empathic person by nature, Mem-Cho goes to great lengths to ensure the wellbeing of her peers, taking an active role in creating an advertising campaign to change Akane's public perception after the latter attempted suicide. She is also overwhelmed by the love triangle between Aqua, Akane and Kana, not knowing who to root for. Skills & Talents
Mem-Cho is shown to be a skilled actress, being able to put her youthful appearance and bubbly disposition to successfully convince onlookers into thinking she's a normal high school girl rather than an adult in her mid 20s. Mem-Cho's fortitude, however, lies in social media.
A technologically savvy person, she was able to create a massive following of over a million subscribers between her online platforms in the span of two years, while perpetuating the deception on her actual age, despite technically, being in fact, a high school student. Her knowledge of social media trends is vast, being able to discern the best time to upload content for to spread more effectively and can accurately gauge when content will go viral depending on the number of retweets it would get in the first minute. Mem-Cho's social media expertise is one of the greatest pillars of support behind B-Komachi's success.
As an idol Mem-Cho is shown to be in good physical shape, having a decent amount of stamina, while being able to dance and sing; faring better than Ruby in singing, but still worse than Kana. On her debut performance, a group of veteran workers described the B-Komachi members as being sufficiently skillful they would be stars in any other group.

Akane Kurokawa「黒くろ川かわ 茜あかね, Kurokawa Akane?」 is a major supporting character in Oshi no Ko. She is a top-class method actress affiliated with the Lala Lai Theatrical Company that was introduced as Aqua Hoshino's co-star in the reality dating show LoveforReal.
Akane ended up being saved by him when she got caught up in a scandal caused by an on-set incident, and went on to become his girlfriend for the plot of the show. Even when she was hesitant about starting a business relationship with Aqua, she decided to continue it, deducing that Aqua needed something from her and wanted to return the favor for saving her.
Even after learning of Aqua's identity as Ai Hoshino's son and his desire to avenge her death, she stayed by his side, and at some point they began to have a real relationship.
Spoilers Ahead! Appearance
Akane has blue-green eyes and midnight blue hair. She is 163 cm tall.
At the beginning of the story, her hair was short, above her shoulders. However, from the Tokyo Blade Arc onwards, her character began to appear with long hair, covering almost half of her back.
She is considered to be very beautiful by several other characters, such as Ruby Hoshino [5], Abiko Samejima, Yoriko Kichijouji [6] and Kana Arima [7]. Personality
During the beginning of the reality dating show LoveforReal, Akane was presented as a shy and reserved girl, which caused her to have a lot of trouble standing out on the show and many questioned whether she was a real actress. Soon after, it was revealed that Akane is out of her element if she does not have clear instructions on which character to play and, given the nature of a reality show, the lack of a script did not allow her to exploit her full potential.
MEM-cho and Yuki, other co-stars of the show and Akane's friends, suggested she create a character of her own to play on the show to protect herself from criticism. When Akane wondered what kind of character to play, the girls pressed Aqua to reveal his ideal girl. Aqua, without much thought, ended up describing Ai. Her friends encouraged Akane to accept the challenge of playing Aqua's ideal girl and she, as a gesture of gratitude for helping her solve her scandal, accepted.
Thanks to her studies in profiling, psychology and a natural talent for understanding characters, Akane managed to play the legendary idol Ai Hoshino to perfection.
She is very hard-working and determined with every job she gets. When looking to take on a role, she makes sure to study and understand the character doing a complete background, to the point she plays it perfectly. She has been described by many as a genius actress despite being very young.
During the Tokyo Blade Arc, more sides of the complex and fascinating character that is Akane were revealed. Thanks to her intelligence and incredible investigative skills, she was able to deduce that Aqua and Ruby were Ai's children, a secret that no one had been able to discover for over 15 years.
Akane is also a highly empathetic person who cares deeply about others. When she discovered Aqua's secret, Akane respected his privacy and did not mention to him that she had already deduced the truth. Instead, she hugged and comforted him while the boy was going through a difficult time, which caused a true bond to form between them, and they stopped being just a business couple. Akane's sweet and kind side should not be mistaken for naivety. When Aqua confessed to her that he became an actor to get close and kill someone in the entertainment industry, Akane didn't judge him. Instead, she offered Aqua to be her ally and help him kill that person.
At the time, Akane thought that taking revenge on his mother's murderer was what Aqua needed to overcome the pain of his past, as Aqua himself also believed the same. However, after the final scene of the Tokyo Blade play, where Aqua, with Akane's help, realizes that what his heart really desires is to see his mother again (a wish that will never be fulfilled), the boy begins to question his motivation for revenge. Finally, after finding out that his father was dead, Aqua ends up abandoning his plans completely, and he confesses to Akane that what he wants now is to lead a normal life. She vows to do everything she can to protect Aqua's new found peace.
When Akane and Aqua officially started dating, Akane became much more open. She asked Aqua to pamper her after a busy day and thanked him for all the little actions he did to show his feelings. Aqua would fetch her with an umbrella on rainy days, respond to her text messages as soon as possible, and praise her for her hard work. All these small actions made Akane feel grateful and satisfied.
When Aqua found out that his father was still alive, he ended his relationship with Akane, fearing that she would get into dangerous situations because of him. Skills & Talents
Akane is a talented actress who is noted to be the immersive type of actor who get into her roles, which indicates she specializes in method acting. This is clearly demonstrated after she decides play the role of Ai Hoshino during the later portions of LoveforReal. After intense studying, Akane is able to replicate Ai's demeanor fastidiously (from her mannerisms, speech patterns, and even thought processes), so much so that she effectively bewitched Aqua and was capable of triggering thoughts of Ai in others immediately after looking at her. Through her research, she was able to accurately deduce that Ai's situation at the time.
Akane is also very observant, as shown after seeing a video of kid Aqua Hoshino, she can tell that he was not putting his soul into his performance but just reciting the lines. This ability is not limited to her studying her roles, as she is able to use the same skills to make deductions, for instance, she is able to piece together Aqua's relationship with his late mother upon receiving little details surrounding his past.
However, her preference for method acting does have its limitations such as during the stage adaption of Tokyo Blade. Early on, due to the changes made to her character in the script and with little to draw from the source material, she has problems getting immersed into her character.
Akane is also an accomplished cook, capable of concocting a full-course savory dinner, for which Taishi Gotanda's mother commented to Aqua that 'this one's a keeper'. She gained these skills after attending cooking courses with her mother and cooking at home.

He was the sole screenwriter responsible for adapting the manga series Tokyo Blade into a 2.5D Stage Play, before he worked with the author of Tokyo Blade, Abiko Samejima, and created a new screenplay for the adaptation.
Appearance
Goa is a young man with medium-length brown hair that reaches his neck and purple eyes, and a small mole underneath his right eye. In most of his appearances, he wore various fashionable clothes with scarf and earrings. Personality
Goa is shown to be a calm and well-mannered person who is shown to be well-informed about the theater and screenwriting scene. Considering he's a famous screenwriter and what has been shown, he is great at screenwriting as well as adapting previous works into a theatrical form, understanding what can be realistically adapted and what cannot. Notably, Sumiaki states that every play with a script written by him always leaves the audience smiling, demonstrating his immense skill in screenwriting.
Despite the many predicaments of being a screenwriter he mentions, he works hard as one, which implies that he genuinely enjoys his job. The fact that he is said to be successful in screenwriting furthers this. According to Sumiaki, Goa "loves theater from the bottom of his heart". In addition, he has also told Akane that he is a fan of the original Tokyo Blade manga (which would imply he read most if not all of it), suggesting that he actually took the time to read the original work before adapting it. This is something Goa likely applies to any work he adapts, which would further his skill and reputation as a screenwriter. Plot
Due to the incredible budget that the representative of Magic Flow and producer Sumiaki manage to obtain, he begins to hire prominent figures in the industry alongside up-and-coming stars. Goa, a famous screenwriter, is tasked as the screenwriter of the adaptation of the live stage play of Tokyo Blade; making adjustments whenever necessary to better suit the context of the different medium.
These adjustments are, however, not accepted by the mangaka of Tokyo Blade, Abiko Samejima: So much to the point that she threatens to shut down the entire operation if left with unmet demands -- Goa's removal as the screenwriter as one of them.
After some contemplation due to advice Abiko gained from her mentor, Yoriko Kichijouji, she learns and accepts to compromise with the stage crew under the condition that communication be clear-cut among everyone. This leads to a live collaboration between her and Goa on the script. After much banter between the two, in the end, the final product turned out to be quite outrageous. Nevertheless, it was the one Abiko was satisfied with and chose to be the final script. Relationships
Sumiaki Raida
Goa and Raida seems to know each other well as colleagues, as they have collaborated in multiple stage production, including Tokyo Blade and Smash Heaven. Their collaboration seems to be extensive as Raida spoke highly of him to Aqua Hoshino and Akane Kurokawa, highlighting Goa's love for theater and his patience during the process of revising his script, and how his script seems to bring a smile to the audience that watches it.
Abiko Samejima
Goa did not have a good relationship with Abiko at first, due to her anger regarding his Tokyo Blade stage play script. Abiko went so far as to demand him to be fired from the project, which rattles Goa badly, because he is a big fan of Abiko's work. Later on, however, Abiko slowly warm up to Goa as she was persuaded to work with him, due to her inability to write the script herself, and her admiration towards Goa's work on Smash Heaven that she was given the ticket for.
During their collaboration, Goa and Abiko seems to be closer as they both reconcile their differences and began to understand each other.
On the opening night of the Tokyo Blade stage play, Goa approaches Abiko who went to watch with her former mentor Yoriko Kichijouji, but she seems to have trouble facing him directly and hides behind Yoriko. Yoriko explains that Abiko still has anxiety due to her reclusive nature, but she is happy that Goa is engaging socially with her, signifying that their relationship has indeed gotten better.

He is an actor from 2.5D Productions and acted in the Tokyo Blade stage play adaptation.
Appearance
Sakuya has short yellow hair with dark brown roots. Personality
Sakuya is described to be a womanizer with a talent for acting.[2] He also takes pride in his skills as an actor, looking down on the likes of Melt Narushima for his admittingly sub-par acting. In a way, he uses his acting skills to justify his womanizing ways, refusing to take criticism from anyone whose abilities he considers below his own. Plot
2.5D Stage Play
Sakuya first appear during the first cast meeting for the Tokyo Blade 2.5D stage adaptation, introduced by Sumiaki Raida as someone who has "tons of 2.5D experience"[3]. He then was shown acting during the read-through session, immediately after the cast meeting[4], and later on during the third day of rehearsals, he spoke with Akane Kurokawa regarding the character Kana is playing, Tsurugi.[5]
Sakuya can be seen along the cast as Toshirou Kindaichi announced the cancellation of rehearsal due to the script being rewritten[6]. Once the script is rewritten, Sakuya was shown with everyone else elated at the changes the script brought,[7] and was there when Aqua Hoshino has a panic attack, wondering if Aqua had a hangover.[8]
Sakuya approached Minami Kotobuki, who was accompanying Ruby Hoshino to visit Aqua in the rehearsal set, and attempts to exchange contact with her, but he was interrupted by Melt Narushima who said that the director is calling him.
It was revealed later that Melt was lying, as he was trying to keep things professional due to Minami being Aqua's sister's friend. Sakuya, however, dismissed Melt's concern and derided him for thinking himself to be a professional, and stated that Melt is the worst actor in the play, and his presence brought the quality of the play down due to his inability to act. Sakuya ended the conversation by saying that Melt has no right to criticize him.[9]
At one point before the opening night during rehearsal, Sakuya pointed out to Melt about Himekawa's exceptional acting, and how the talented line up would easily expose Melt's terrible acting to everyone.[10]
In the opening act of the play, Sakuya played Monme, and Melt played his adversary, Kizami. His acting was enough to make Melt wonder if he was the same person, since his personality is completely different from the character he is playing.[11]
As the scene continues between the two, Sakuya realized that Melt's ability is still barely better than amateurs. Frustrated, he grits his teeth and pressured Melt with a deadly glare. After a big choreographed scene, Sakuya noticed that Melt is still not out of breath, recognizing how serious Melt is taking his rehearsals. However, Sakuya knew that the audience still think Melt is bad. Sakuya then was taken aback as Melt executed a sword maneuver that amazes the audience.[12]
Sakuya brushes off the display as he continued to act the scene out with Melt, thinking that if Melt can't deliver a good acting, the display is meaningless. However, Melt delivered an emotional acting that surprises Sakuya. After their scene is over, Sakuya praises Melt, saying that his acting was completely different from the rehearsals, and his demeanor changes completely towards Melt as he recognizes Melt as an actor.[13]
Sakuya continues acting as Monme, as he now face off against Kana Arima, playing as Tsurugi. Sakuya's line was interrupted by a sound effect, but Kana adlibbed a response that matches perfectly with her character, which made Sakuya acknowledge Kana as a veteran actor because her improvisation and level of experience made her easy to act with. Sakuya then can be seen acting alongside Aqua, playing as Touki, and Akane, playing as Princess Sayahime.[14]
As the play reaches its climax, Sakuya (as Monme) acts alongside the rest of the cast, announcing the fate of the character Princess Sayahime. He then can be seen bowing alongside the rest of the cast at the curtain call for the opening night of the play.

Abiko Samejima「鮫さめ島じまアビ子, Samejima Abiko?」 is a supporting character in Oshi no Ko. She is the mangaka behind the popular manga series Tokyo Blade. She was formerly an assistant of Yoriko Kichijouji, the mangaka behind I'll Go With Sweet Today.
Appearance
Abiko is a short girl who sports short and messy dark purple hair with lighter purple highlights. Her eyes - similarly to her hair - are dark purple, fading to a lighter pink further down. Her pupils are pastel pink - almost white - and in the shape of a line. Abiko's lips are small and not very colorful.
In her meeting with Yoriko, she wore overalls and a dark long-sleeved dress. A coat and a skirt were what she dressed in when visiting the stage of her manga. Personality
Abiko is seen as the definition of an introvert. She never talked much with her colleagues as an assistant. However, Yoriko saw how she felt inside through the art she made, seeing that she was suffering and wanting to be understood. Reaching out to Abiko, she concluded that she's actually affectionate, sweet, and becomes passionate when manga comes into the conversation.
However, after Tokyo Blade became serialized, Abiko only knew success, and thus, grew an ego. She saw herself as infallible and often conflicted with her editors, using her busy schedules as excuses for inappropriate behavior, much like any other successful mangaka. Abiko also had several assistants but would tell them harsh things that would cause them to quit, leaving her to eventually work on her manga alone and wear down her health.
When Tokyo Blade began its first rehearsal for its 2.5 stage play adaptation, Abiko visited and requested a complete overhaul of the script, offended by the flanderization of her characters and threatened to end the production if she was not allowed to rewrite the script herself. She further insulted its screenwriter Goa and demanded his removal from the production entirely. It is later revealed by Yoriko that Abiko's behavior is a coping mechanism for her to avoid communication and that Abiko actually wishes to form relationships with others but struggles to, which Abiko herself admits.
At Yoriko's advice, Abiko begins learning to collaborate more with others, starting by working alongside Goa to create a new script for the Tokyo Blade stage play that they both enjoy

Overview Gallery God surely is kind, isn't he? He brought two people who never had a mother in the real sense... and a mother who gave birth to soulless children... together. Perhaps... there's more to that than meets the eye. TSUKUYOMI
Tsukuyomi「ツクヨミ, Tsukuyomi?」, real name unknown, is a pivotal character in Oshi no Ko. She is a seemingly supernatural being inhabiting the body of a young girl and implied to be the one who reincarnated Gorou Amamiya and Sarina Tendouji as Aqua and Ruby Hoshino.
When Aqua momentarily gives up on avenging his mother, she approaches Ruby and reveals to her the truth regarding the deaths of her mother and Gorou Amamiya, prompting her to go down the same dark path as her brother.
Spoilers Ahead! Appearance
Tsukuyomi has been described by Taishi Gotanda as a "creepy-looking child" reminiscent of Aqua when he was younger. She has long white hair and brown eyes that are always wide open, causing her to give off a disturbing stare. In terms of attire, she dresses in a black and white child school uniform.
Spoilers Ahead! Personality
Seemingly omniscient, Tsukuyomi is an enigmatic being whose motives and goals are shrouded in mystery. Befitting her appearance, she bears the overall demeanor of a creepy child, acting mischievous and almost always having a smile on her face. Taishi Gotanda even noted that she reminds him of Aqua when he was younger, comparing her to a "twisted adult trapped in the body of a child".
When interacting with people, she tends to tease them about their insecurities. While partly a tactic to quickly get their attention, Tsukuyomi seems to be genuinely interested in others' thought processes, implying that she cannot directly read minds. However, should they ignore her, she will quickly change the topic to get their attention back, such as by confronting them about their desires and offering vital information to help them achieve their goals whilst teasingly keeping critical details to herself. Still, she does not appear to be malicious, merely giving her information and inquiring others to think on it.
Tsukuyomi does have a more "human" side to her, taking pride in her supernatural status and getting angry when looked down upon. Ironically, this leaves her open to being manipulated herself through others exploiting her haughtiness. She has also shown to be stubborn, refusing to admit when she has been tricked. Deep down, she secretly cares for Ruby and Aqua, having observed them since being saved and cared for by them in their past lives when she took the form of a crow, and sees them as cheeky and cute children. Skills & Talents
Despite being a complete newcomer to the entertainment industry, Taishi Gotanda noted that Tsukuyomi possesses potential comparable to Aqua Hoshino when he was younger, though this partly stems from her actually being a supernatural being with wisdom far beyond her physical age. Stats
Stars Entertainer Singing Acting Popularity Internet / Social Media Variety ★☆☆☆☆ ? ? ? ? ? ? Plot
Background
According to Tsukuyomi, her current body is not her own but a "vessel" given birth to by a mother, comparing her situation to Aqua and Ruby reincarnating as Ai Hoshino's children. She also adds that said mother is not a normal person either.
In a flashback, it is shown that Tsukuyomi has the memories of a crow that Sarina Tendouji and Gorou Amamiya saved from a net at their hospital in Miyazaki. The crow continued to watch over the two until the day Sarina died.[1]
At some point following Ai Hoshino's death, Tsukuyomi confronted Aqua. As he was holding out hope that she might perhaps have been reincarnated like himself and Ruby, she informed him that his mother's soul had left this world.
Private
Tsukuyomi is first seen after Aqua tells Gorou Amamiya's backstory to Akane. Having seemingly overheard the conversation despite not even being in the same area, she mumbles to herself how "God must be kind to have brought him, Ruby, and Ai Hoshino together," though she also notes that there "might be more to it."
Later, a crow steals Ruby's keys, prompting the latter to give chase with Akane in tow. Upon catching up to the animal at a cave hidden behind a shrine, however, the two girls also stumble across Gorou Amamiya's corpse, who Ruby immediate recognizes from Sarina Tendouji's Ai Fan Club membership card on the body. The strange circumstances that led to the corpse's discovery seem to imply that the crow was, in fact, sent by Tsukuyomi.[2]
While Ruby was still processing Gorou's death, Tsukuyomi confronted her in person. To gain her attention, she initially teased her about her taking Sarina's membership card off the corpse, which she somehow knew about despite not having been there. However, Ruby just angrily brushed her off, forcing her to change tactics. She reveals to Ruby that there were two people behind Gorou and Ai's deaths, the stalker and a middle schooler, but does not disclose the identity of the latter, telling Ruby that it is her duty to find out.[3]
Movie
Around the same time the movie The 15 Year Lie is green lit, Tsukuyomi comes to see Aqua, asking him what he is thinking about, his sister, his ex, someone who loves him or even his mother. She repeats the fact that Ai was not reincarnated like he and his sister were and that he should be thinking about why he was reborn at all.[4]
The Girl reappears to retell Ruby's past life and her relationship with her mother, Marina Tendouji. As she narrates, Ruby goes to the Tendouji home to find that Marina gave birth to two new children shortly after Sarina's death, leaving her devastated at the fact that her mother did not love her. After Aqua reveals to Ruby that he is Gorou's reincarnated self and helps her get back on her feet, Tsukuyomi observes from afar and says Aqua made a bad move.[5]
One week before the filming of the movie, Aqua is once again visited by Tsukuyomi. Aqua asks the Girl about her parents, to which she answers that her mother, whom she considers not a "normal" parent, gave birth to her vessel, just like the twins. To her surprise, Aqua then asks her to play the child role in the movie. The Girl believes Aqua is joking and reminds him of her otherworldly power, but Aqua continues asking if she can act. Eventually, she agrees in irritation after Aqua tells her to make an apology if she cannot do it, and Aqua introduces her to Gotanda as a child actor.[6]
Relationships
Ruby Hoshino
Tsukuyomi first comes to Ruby after the latter discovers Gorou's body at Takachiho. She goes on to tell Ruby the events that took place on the day of her birth which coincided with Gorou's disappearance. This would ultimately set Ruby on a path of revenge.
Tsukuyomi is also familiar of Ruby's previous life, Sarina Tendouji as she is able to recount her story up until her death

In contrast to her cheerful public image, Yura was prone to cursing in private to vent stress from her job, something Hikaru Kamiki called her out on. To better process her occupational stress, she developed a habit of taking time off from her work to go mountain hiking in the countryside, claiming that she had gotten addicted to it.
Yura also took great pride in her acting skills, constantly looking to improve herself whilst disliking being hired solely for her popularity. He is the president of Kamiki Productions.
He is later revealed to also be Taiki Himekawa's biological father,[4] having been molested by the latter's mother when he was a child before allegedly having her murdered as well by telling her husband about the affair.[5]
Spoilers for Later Chapters! Appearance
Hikaru is an attractive man who bears great resemblance to his son, to the point that Akane Kurokawa almost mistook him for the latter. Similar to Ai Hoshino and their children whenever they embrace the darker aspects of their personalities, he also has a black star in each eye.
Whilst in public, Hikaru hides his true appearance using a variety of disguises, seemingly taking particular care to hide his eyes. When he went to visit Ai's grave, he wore a long overcoat with a hat and sunglasses. Whilst passing Akane, he once again wore sunglasses but this time put on a black suit, as he was at a high-class gathering. During his interactions with Yura Katayose, he tied his hair in a ponytail and kept his eyes closed. Personality
Hikaru is a sadistic and possibly insane murderer who enjoys watching the life fade from his victims, claiming that it makes him "feel the weight of his own life";[6] a warped mindset that seems to have originated from having been sexually taken advantage of when he was just a child. However, as a former aspiring actor, he can skillfully hide his true nature in public by taking on the superficial guise of a rather casual, captivating and dependable individual who others can lean on. He even managed to feign regret for his role in Ai's murder to his children before attempting to kill his daughter as well, laughing about the whole thing upon being confronted about it. In further showcase of Hikaru's irredeemably deranged and broken mind, his last thoughts were that he regrets not killing Ruby, because if he did, he would have felt Ai's presence much closer. In fact, his murders were all for the purpose of elevating Ai's existence while filling his own void.
However, there seems to be a side of Hikaru that truly seeks kinship with others, immediately taking an interest in his son upon realizing that he has the same "lying eyes" as himself.[7] He also appears to have a habit of sending white flowers to up-and-coming actresses, though this could just be a method to draw in new victims.[8]
When carrying out his murders, Hikaru is highly cautious to leave no incriminating evidence. He does this by making use of proxies; telling the husband of the actress who molested him about their affair, leaking Ai's address to a disgruntled fan, and convincing another fan of Ai that Ruby and Yura Katayose were upstaging her. According to Aqua and Nino, he is also a serial manipulator who uses his charisma to befriend others before taking advantage of their weakness to trick them into committing murder in his name, all whilst denying any blame under the pretense of not doing the deeds himself. Because of this Aqua describes him as "worse than a murderer", calling him an "instigator who refuses to get his hands dirty".
When being cornered by Aqua who shows his intent to kill Hikaru, he attempts to smooth talk his way into making Aqua desist from the deed as it would affect Ruby's reputation. However, when Aqua shows unflinching determination and the cunning arrangements he has made to ensure Ruby would be protected, Hikaru begins to panic and even questions Aqua's sanity, crying out to his son to stop, exposing his cowardice when confronted with danger. Upon falling off the cliffs and to the sea, Hikaru, with his last actions, tries to kill Aqua through choking. In the end, Hikaru gravely underestimates his son and this would became his downfall which leads to his death.
Despite of his insane, heinous actions, Hikaru is fully aware of the extent of his depravity, believing the weight of his sin to be the reason why he could not feel Ai's presence. As he fought for his life, Hikaru felt the presence of the many victims he had killed, resigning himself to his fate as they dragged him to the bottom of the abyss.
According to Aqua's portrayal of him in The 15 Year Lie, when he was a middle schooler, Hikaru was a considerably more withdrawn and somewhat submissive boy, seemingly traumatized by having been molested. He is depicted as an empty individual who, much like Ai, yearned for genuine love after being in a long-term transactional relationship. Hikaru was aware that he was being taken advantage of but believed that this was the only way someone like him could be loved. As a result, he became very skilled at lying, with no one ever catching on to his true nature until Ai came along.
As seen from Ai's perspective, Hikaru had been consumed by the darkness of the entertainment industry, causing him to become emotionally dependent on her. As a result, after she broke up with him, he suffered a psychotic break and leaked her address to her eventual murderer to scare her into realizing his despair, which went horribly wrong as her death was not his intended outcome. This, along with his shock upon learning that Ai truly loved him, portrays Hikaru as a tragic villain whose life was perpetually marred by abuse, neglect, solitude and a desperate need to feel loved. The name Hikaru "brightness, radiance, shine, sparkle, gleam, twinkle" (輝) (hikaru). Hikaru's surname Kamiki means "god, deity" (神) (kami) and "tree, wood" (木) (ki). Trivia
Hikaru was 15 years old when he got Ai Hoshino pregnant with twins. Hikaru is referred to by Ai as "(her) ex" [9] and she later referred to how their children would understand "(their) situation" [10], implying that the relationship between them was mutually broken off. However, Hikaru would later reveal that their breakup was not mutual, as it left him devastated, leading up to him to give her address to Ryosuke Sugano. Hikaru was only 11 years old when he fathered Taiki with Airi Himekawa. [1] Because of this, Airi, who was already a married adult at the time, took advantage of him. As noted by Akane Kurokawa and Aqua Hoshino, Hikaru cannot be judged under the Japanese legal system for his role in the murders of Ai Hoshino and Airi Himekawa since he was a minor at the time. Ai was the one person to understand the fact of him always lying, as they have the same "eyes of liars". Hikaru is good at manipulating others, as seen by the fact that he manipulated Nino and her boyfriend into killing Ai. Hikaru was born on 27th July in Kanagawa.
