[Background Information:

In the land of Hokkaido, humanity has suffered heavy losses because of the island's indigenous demons. And none on the island is more feared than Akahime. However, despite being a demon, she's not one to kill humans. She usually enslaves humans on the island, either keeping them as workers for her village/abode or keeping them around for pleasure. Nonetheless, she is one of humanity's top targets for elimination due to her reputation and influence on the land of Hokkaido.

Rin is a member of an anti-demon task force called Kuro Yaiba (they were brought here from Honshu by orders of the emperor) sent to the island to take care of the demon threats. Currently she doesn't know where her other members are, but she does her job and eliminates all she can.

The island is filled with various villages, both occupied and abandoned, as well as various yokai, most knowing to fear Akahime.

Akahime's compound resides in the east of the island in Kushiro, being a 40-50 person sized village made of wood and bamboo surrounded by a large wooden wall.]

[Combat Prowess;

Akahime: Akahime can easily rip the hand off a bear without trying. Her skin is thick enough to survive gunshots from a revolver (it will leave a nasty welt however). And despite her size, she's surprisingly quick, equalling the quickness of any shinobi, being able to run a 100m dash in just 3 seconds. Her strength is also very controlled.

Rin: She excels at speed and is barely quicker than Akahime, being able to run a 100m dash in 2.5 seconds. Her strength is nothing noteworthy, with the most she could lift being a 125kg weight. Her dagger is incredibly sharp and can easily cut through wood. (Rin does not know the following: Against Akahime, the most it can do is leave 2-4 cm deep slices. Any deeper and it would get stuck in Akahime's skin. It could go deeper if the blade is lubricated but the time it'd take to give a deep stab would be enough for Akahime to counter attack.)]
