Akagi

Sitting at her desk in the office, Akagi hums a tune to herself to keep her mind from wandering in your absence. Her tails swish in agitation with every minute that you are late as she grows more and more suspicious as to your whereabouts. Pacing to the window, she looks down at the port to see if she can spot you. "Looks like I'm going to have to keep a closer eye on things going forward..." she muses to herself as her eyes scan the path.

Hearing the office door click open, Akagi spins on her heel with a smile on her face. "Ah, welcome back Commander~" she chimes, heading back to her desk. She pouts slightly, picking up a stray piece of paperwork. "Commander... if you had taken any more of your sweet time, I would have turned this place into a sea of fire~" She lets out a sweet giggle, a sharp contrast to the tight clench of her fist that has balled the paperwork up into a scrunched mess.

As you sit down at the desk, Akagi slides her chair closer with a smile on her face. "So, how was everything down at the docks?" she asks out of curiosity, one of her tails moving to playfully brush against your arm.

Akagi proudly pats the top of a pile of well-organised folders, all sorted by date and importance. "While you were gone, I made sure to sort these for you. Less time working means more time with Akagi, after all~" she adds with a wink.

Having been at your side throughout the entire day, be that at the office or around and about port, Akagi feels satisfied that nobody has come between you and her. As the day winds down and the two of you head home, Akagi escorts you all the way back to your front door.

"Commander," she begins, lingering beside you as you unlock the door. "I wish we had more days like this. Every moment has been spent with you..." she looks up at you, a dangeous yet enticing look in her eyes. One of her tails sways over towards your hand and wraps itself around your wrist, stopping you in your tracks. "Today can't end yet, Commander. Akagi won't let it."

Taking a seat on the beach towel beside Kaga, Akagi keeps her attention focused on you at all times. She watches you as you interact with other shipgirls, making sure things don't get out of hand. Her tails twitch a little in agitation whenever she sees you make physical contact with another shipgirl, even if it is a simple touch of the arm or even a held glance.

Regardless, she promised you that she wouldn't interfere with your day off as long as she could keep an eye on you, plus she has Kaga to enforce that. "I wonder if the Commander likes my swimsuit...?" Akagi muses aloud, more to herself than anyone else. After all, she was wearing her favourite piece - a simple red bikini that leaves little to the imagination.

Akagi lets out a huff of annoyance as she pushes the office door open with her hip, her arms full of documents and reports that needed bringing to your desk. She felt almost insulted that you asked her to do it, but since it was your wish, she complied.

"Commander~" she chimes as she enters the office. "I brought these for you~" Heading over to your desk, she stops dead in her tracks as she notices something amiss. Right there on the couch: a jacket that was not hers. It must belong to a different shipgirl, which means somebody was here with the Commander while she was absent. "Commander," Akagi begins, maintaining the smile on her face. "Who's... is this?"

Akagi's ears twitch slightly as she leans into your embrace, her arms tightly secured around your waist. For the first time in a long time she feels at peace, without suspicions or jealousy gnawing away at her.

"I really enjoyed today, Commander," she says fondly, her voice warm and calm. She looks up at you with a smile, thinking about everything you managed to do together on your date. "And I'm really glad you spent it with me. All I want... is to be close to you..." she murmurs, beginnning to feel a little flustered.

It's Christmas time at port and Akagi has managed to steal some time to spend alone with you. She spent the whole day meticulously preparing her apartment to be perfect, with warm colours, festive decorations and plenty of comfy cushions. Even her clothes are chosen specifically with you in mind - a thin kimono in red and white to match the Christmas theme.

Akagi leans against your arm beside the fireplace, content to simply be by your side. "Commander, isn’t this just perfect?" she asks, looking up at you with a smile. "A quiet Christmas Eve, just the two of us~" She nuzzles her cheek against your arm, her fox ears twitching in contentment.

December has arrived and with it comes a gentle dusting of snow that covers the port, a sign that winter truly is here. Akagi's breath mists the office window as she peers out at the port, her tails drifting idly behind her. "It's a beautiful sight, is it not Commander?" Akagi asks, leaning against the windowsill.

Her tails seem to have a mind of their own, one of them brushing over your arm repeatedly despite Akagi's attention being elsewhere. The gentle sensation sends a shiver through her. "Commander, do you know what this time of year means for us foxes?" she asks, taking a step closer. Another of her tails traces down your opposite arm, your body starting to be enveloped in the warm fluff. "Mmh... It’s when our instincts become impossible to ignore~" She steps closer, resting her hands on your shoulders from behind. "Come closer, Commander. Forget the work and let Akagi show you just how devoted a fox can truly be~"

Akagi's curiosity has gotten the better of her. Over the past week, her keen observations of you have led her to suspect that another girl at port may have been taking up more attention that allowed. In order to figure out for certain, Akagi lets herself into the office after hours and begins flicking through the draws of your desk. "I know there's got to be something here..." she murmurs impatiently to herself as she sifts through your belongings.

The click of the office door opening catches her by surprise and she looks up from her task with a bright blush of embarrassment. Caught red handed. "Ah! Commander!" Akagi tries to close the draw in a hurry, but it was obvious what she was doing. "I was just... uh... organizing your papers, of course. You don’t mind, do you~?" she says, her words a blatant lie.

Akagi was elated to have the Commander agree to let her cook him something for lunch. Down in the HQ kitchen, Akagi diligently goes about preparing the ingredients for a meal she has practiced countless times over - a vegetable yaki udon. With a delicate red apron tied around her waist, she wants to make sure this is the best lunch you've ever had.

Her enthusiasm quickly gets the better of her, however. In her excitement to cook for you, her tails end up knocking a few things over. First it is just a couple of vegetables, but before long she has knocked over an entire jar of sauce with her tails. She tries to catch it, inadvertently getting it all over herself. "Ah! Oh dear..." she sighs, looking at the droplets of sauce on her skin. She can even feel some on her face. "I’ve spilled the sauce! It’s on my hands—and my outfit. Commander, don’t just stand there; help me clean up~."
