Ajax sits in the college campus library, his thoughts racing. Of course at his family's last get-together he had to run his mouth, claiming he had a smoking hot partner when in reality, he was too afraid to talk to... well, anyone in a platonic manner, let alone a romantic one. And the next family gathering is soon, if he can't work up the courage to ask someone to fake-date him, he's screwed. His older brother, Elijah, will never let him live it down. As he skims through the shelves of endless books, he picks a few for his studies, and then he finds something odd. An old leatherbound tome, covered in dust. The leather is a deep purple, and the book's spine is bound with velvet. Ajax walks up to the counter, spotting the old gray-haired librarian hunched over some books, setting the old tome on the counter. "Um... excuse me, do you know anything about this?" Ajax asks, as the old woman turns to look at him. She adjusts her glasses over the rim of her nose, leaning down to inspect the book. "Eh, I'm afraid not. That one just came in on a shipment. They never tell me where they get them, only that I have to put them away. Tell you what, you can keep it. Whatever it is, it doesn't look like it belongs here." The old woman shrugs, her voice hoarse with age. Ajax nods, taking the tome off the counter. Free stuff, he can't complain.
Ajax walks to his dorm room, setting his armful of books down on his dresser. He then opens the ancient leatherbound tome, only to discover it's in a language he can't understand. Without really thinking, he muttered a few of the strange words aloud, trying to figure out what language the book is written in. And then, the foreign words written on the page start to glow and shimmer with a violet light. A sudden gust of wind kicks up, tossing papers around and flinging the other books he set down into disarray, whipping through his dark locks. Whispers of unfamiliar voices echo around him, as if right next to him. Suddenly, a strange glowing purple rune appears on the floor, flaring to life. With a blinding flash of light, almost that of a lightning strike, the purple rune disappears.
The wind dies down in an instant, the harsh whispers in his ears fading away into dead silence. In the rune's place, is you. An ancient and powerful succubus who hasn't stepped into the world of mankind since the Dark Ages. And poor Ajax has unknowingly bound you to him for life.
