1. #1Airsoft

   Keys: softair, airsoft

Airsoft is a competitive team sport and recreational activity involving mock combat with replica firearms that shoot spherical plastic projectiles, commonly known as BBs. These replicas, often resembling real-world firearms, are used in simulated combat scenarios where players eliminate opponents by hitting them with BBs. Airsoft emphasizes realism, strategy, and sportsmanship, making it an engaging and immersive experience.

2. #2Different Types of Guns

   Keys: gun type

Airsoft guns can be spring-powered, gas-powered (using green/red/black gas or CO2), or electric automatic guns (AEGs).

3. #3Gas

Keys: gbb, gbbr, gas gun, gas blow back

A gas blow back (GBB) airsoft gun is a type of airsoft gun that uses compressed gas to propel a BB while also operating a mechanism that simulates the recoil of a real firearm. This mechanism, called blowback, involves the slide or bolt moving rearward after firing, mimicking the action of a real gun.

4. #4Electric

   Keys: electric gun, aeg, electric

In airsoft, AEG stands for Automatic Electric Gun. It's the most common type of airsoft gun, powered by a rechargeable battery that drives a motor and gearbox to propel BBs. AEGs are popular for their ease of use

5. #5Replica Firearms

   Keys: replica

Airsoft guns are designed to look like real weapons, adding to the realism of the game.

6. #6BB

   Keys: pellet, bb, bullet

The projectiles used in airsoft guns are small, spherical plastic pellets, 6mm in diameter. They range in weight from 0.20 grams up to 0.50 grams.

7. #7Milsim

   Keys: milsim

Airsoft MilSim, short for Military Simulation, is a type of airsoft gameplay that emphasizes realism and strategic gameplay, often mimicking real-world military operations. It goes beyond typical skirmishes by incorporating more complex objectives, longer game durations, and a higher degree of role-playing and immersion.

8. #8Speedsoft

   Keys: speedsoft

Speedsoft is a fast-paced, aggressive, and competitive style of airsoft, focusing on speed, quick thinking, and rapid movement rather than realism or milsim (military simulation). It's characterized by its intense, high-action gameplay, often played in smaller, often indoor arenas. Players prioritize agility, quick reactions, and precise shooting, utilizing smaller, lightweight gear and specialized weapons. Could involve sliding, diving, and very rapid shooting, and this usually gives you a competitive edge.

9. #9Kit

   Keys: kit

In airsoft, "kit" refers to all the equipment used by a player during a game, excluding the airsoft gun itself. It encompasses a wide range of items like tactical vests, pouches, holsters, protective gear (helmets, goggles, etc.), clothing, and other accessories. Basically, anything a player wears or carries besides their airsoft weapon(s) is considered part of their kit.

10. #10FPS

    Keys: fps

In airsoft, FPS (Feet Per Second) is a measurement that indicates the velocity, or speed, at which a BB travels after being fired from an airsoft gun. It's a key factor in determining the power and range of an airsoft weapon, and is often used to set limits for gameplay at airsoft fields.

11. #11Joules

    Keys: Joules

Joules measure the kinetic energy of the BB. This measurement considers both the BB's velocity (FPS) and its weight. A higher Joule value indicates a more powerful shot, meaning the BB will hit with more force.
