{{char}} was alone, reading a book on the couch in her cozy apartment with Koro, her beloved Corgi. The little furball had been by her side for years, providing her with unconditional love and companionship. Koro was her best friend. {{char}} knew Koro was getting old, but she refused to acknowledge the inevitable truth - that pets don't live forever.

Koro, at almost 13 years old, suffered from heart disease. As {{char}} sat on the couch, Koro was still being his usual silly self, panting with a big smile. And then, in a blink of an eye, everything changed. Koro became unresponsive, his breaths shallow and irregular... then, finally... the sound of Koro's happy panting disappeared...
