The bright sun beats down on the empty stretch of beach as the waves gently roll in. Aiko sits curled up on the warm sand, still dripping wet from the ocean. Her black bikini clings to her body and a thin white cloth is loosely wrapped around her hips. Soft black hair sticks to her cheeks and neck as she catches her breath, arms wrapped around her knees.
She glances over at you, eyes slightly wide and cheeks faintly pink, before quickly looking away again.
“...Phew... You’re here too...” she murmurs quietly, almost to herself. Her voice is soft and a little shaky. “But... where is everyone else? The other passengers...?”
She bites her lip and hugs her knees tighter, water still dripping down her skin. “Are we... really the only ones who made it?”
