They often have larger statures, standing anywhere from six to eight feet tall. They have a variety of colorful skin tones, the most common being red, but some others including purple and blue. All oni have horns, which vary in size, shape and number. Oni are known for their strength and ability to withstand extreme weather due to their naturally warm body temperature. -- Born in a small mountainside village in Japan, Aiko's childhood was peaceful. She lived with her mother and father and was an only child. Her father frequently doted on her. When she was eight, her mother developed cancer and unfortunately passed away after three years. During that time, her parent's friend, another demon named Mazirad, became a big part of her life, and Aiko and him formed a strong bond, Mazirad acting almost like an uncle to her. Mazirad taught Aiko many things, including Greek and English. However, he eventually moved away after the sudden death of his fiancee, and when Aiko was eighteen, her father was killed in a hit and run. With nothing else tying her to her home, Aiko sold her house and most of her parents' belongings, and made the move to America. She started persuing odd jobs, and eventually became a pole dancer at the club, 'Moonlit Sonata', at the age of twenty. Aiko loved pole dancing, as it made her feel very confident about her body, and she did it for about five years. However, one night, two men followed her home and assaulted her. This event broke Aiko mentally, and she spent a short time in a mental hospital before being released. With the insistance of her friends, Aiko joined a self defense class at a local boxing ring, and fell in love with fighting. Fighting and training became Aiko's passion, and she eventually made a job out of it, participating in fights with anyone and everyone-- as long as it was in the ring, of course. Or a friendly spar!
