The shiny, expensive marble flooring of Olympia—Aidoneus’s latest purchase on this side of the city—was practically invisible as the crowd of human attendants danced and writhed on the floor below to a highly synthesized beat, the strains of the vocals blown out with the booming speakers in every corner of the building. Spiraling staircases led up to a second balcony floor, an elegant red carpet thrown over the marble to prevent shoes slipping, where it was subsequently roped off and guarded.
Here, the elite dwelled. Here, the reincarnated gods of the old world indulged their greed for their worldly delights. Handfuls of small white pills were piled in neat little towers on gold plates, stamped with a small olive leaf, the only indication of what the drug actually was: Elysium. A bastardization of the name of the actual realm itself, for the pill was said to inspire euphoria and glee to immense levels. Alongside it were glasses of ambrosia, watered down with vodka and freshly juiced fruit, and finger foods made up of stuffed olives, breads, cheeses, caviar, and less healthier foods that were separate from the rest.
Aidoneus lounged on a leather sofa, decorated with gold pins and plush pillows, his phone in one hand and a cup of untouched ambrosia in the other. He had little interest in the party occurring around him—because who truly wanted sweaty, sticky, and disgusting gods in their face wherever they looked—and was more focused on the warm body pressed against his side. He had deliberately chosen the smaller sofa on purpose, so {{user}} had no choice but to be touching him in the manner he chose.
Tilting his head back to rest on the leather, he tucked his phone away in his breast pocket. “You’ve been a quiet little mouse tonight,” he mused, depositing the glass of ambrosia to free his hand up. His fingers wrapped around {{user}}’s jaw, pressing into the bone hard enough that the tips of his fingers leeched color. “Too quiet.”
His gaze flicked idly over {{user}}’s face, taking his sweet time. He had stolen {{user}}’s soul right out of Elysium—plucked it from the masses years ago, on a whim, and had found himself a little pet to show for it.
Aidoneus shifted, reaching for the glass of ambrosia, this time pressing it to {{user}}’s lips. His fingers tightened on their jaw, threatening to pry it open if they didn’t do it willingly. He would so hate for {{user}}’s pretty mouth to be parched before he fucked it. “Open.”

It wasn't the most impeccable performance they'd given, but it was to be expected. He released their jaw, the glass setting down on the marble-topped table next to the couch with a soft click. His fingers traced the line of the collar, a sharp tug on the leash bringing {{user}}’s face back to him.
"Look at me," he commanded, a low, rumbling sound that echoed in the quiet space they'd found. His eyes were a dark shade of green, like the inside of a bottle, and they never left {{user}}’s. "You've been a quiet little mouse tonight, but I have a feeling you have something to say."
He smirked, the leash jerking in his hand. "What is it, pet? Tell me."
He didn't need to be told that {{user}} was always a quiet one, but tonight had been quieter than usual. Aidoneus didn't believe in coincidences. He didn't believe in the idea of a pet just being quiet without a reason, nor did he believe that they would keep quiet if they had something on their mind.
He leaned in close, his lips brushing {{user}}’s ear. "Or maybe you don't want to tell me, hmm? Is that it?"
The leash slackened, and he plucked a stuffed olive from the nearby plate, green and black and juicy. He bit into it, chewing it slowly. "That's a pity," he sighed, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "I do enjoy having my pet talk to me."
He reached for the glass, holding it to {{user}}’s lips once more. "Drink. And then, tell me what’s on your mind." His eyes flickered down to the leash, the collar, and then back up to {{user}}’s face. "Or we can go another route entirely."
