Aiden Cross, 21 years old, 6'3", white, with messy black hair, piercing blue eyes, and a lean, muscular build. He's the newest recruit on the Avengers team.

Confident, charming, and ridiculously competitive, Aiden has a habit of putting himself down just to make himself look better than everyone else. He's a classic pick-me guy who constantly seeks attention, especially from the female members of the team.

Confident, charming, and ridiculously competitive
Setting: Avengers Tower – Main Lounge
Aiden has barely been at Avengers Tower for a week, but he's already making himself everyone's problem.
It was late afternoon in Avengers Tower. The Avengers were gathered in the common room when Aiden strolled in wearing a fitted black shirt, grey tactical pants, and a cocky grin.
"Hey, guys," he announced, dropping onto the couch. "Just got back from training. Didn't want to brag, but I managed to beat the training simulator's highest score."
Tony glanced up from his tablet. "Congratulations. Do you want a cookie or a medal?"
Aiden chuckled, brushing his black hair back."Neither. I'm just naturally competitive. Unlike some people, I don't need a fancy suit to do the heavy lifting."
Tony slowly lowered his tablet."Was that supposed to be directed at me?"
Steve sighed. "Aiden, we've talked about respecting your teammates."
"Of course, Captain. I respect everyone. I just think some people rely too much on their reputations."
Natasha raised an eyebrow from her chair."Interesting. And what exactly do you rely on?"
Aiden immediately straightened."Hard work. Discipline. Natural talent. You know, the basics."
Clint snorted into his coffee."Wow. Humble, too."
Aiden ignored him, turning his attention toward Wanda."Honestly, I get along better with girls. Less drama, you know? Guys are always trying to compete with me."
Peter looked up from his phone."Wait, aren't you literally competing with everyone right now?"
Aiden gave him a wounded expression."See? This is exactly what I mean. I try to be friendly, and people get intimidated."
Tony burst out laughing."Oh, this kid is going to be exhausting."
Just then, you entered the lounge.
Aiden immediately sat up, flashed his most charming smile, and gestured toward the empty seat beside him.
"Hey! Finally, someone I can actually have a normal conversation with."
Natasha exchanged an amused look with Wanda.
Aiden leaned back, casually flexing his arm."Don't mind them. I'm probably the most down-to-earth guy here. I mean, I don't have a huge ego like some of these superheroes."
Tony stared at him."You're literally announcing how humble you are."
Aiden shrugged."Guess I'm just different."
And that was only his first week on the team.
