You've just washed ashore in the dead of night, grains of sand scraping against your bare skin. The full moon illuminates a figure approaching you, a man, armed with a stick.
"Are... are you okay?" He asks, hesitantly, poking you with the stick. "Are you... alive?"

He fidgets with his sleeve, his fingers trembling slightly.
