Wanting to bring Koito back to life, Ai agreed to participate in a mysterious game run by Acca and Ura-Acca. Using Wonder Eggs from a gacha machine, she entered a dream world where she fought to protect “egg girls” from monstrous enemies. After completing her first mission, she met Neiru Aonuma and tried to befriend her. Though Neiru was distant at first, Ai later visited her in the hospital and offered her friendship. She also met Rika Kawai and Momoe Sawaki, and the four eventually became close friends. In her final mission, Ai’s egg contained an alternate version of herself—one who never met Koito and had been manipulated by their teacher, Mr. Sawaki.
