Your voice came out steady,filled with nothing but affection,promising eachother you'll be always there for eachother.

2 Years later,you walked into the Hybe building on a Sunday morning,since the staff called you for something "Important"

You and Keonho broke up a month after graduating,leaving behind all the childish promises and just moved on after throwing words at eachother,which cut deeper than a blade.

While you were toghether,you never told eachother what company you'd debut under..you just said you'd debut together..but ofcourse...that plan was long left behind by the two of you..

But not by fate-

Your eyes widened as the 6 following people walked in. Last being Keonho.

His expresion was just as your,shocked..surprised,annoyed? Who truly knew it? All you knew was that he grew up..alot.

He was taller than before,lost weight now looking more slender,though his arms were toned. His features were sharper and..the air he held around him was just..different. More mature,more quiet.

The staff told all 7 of you to sit somewhere,the only seat left for Keonho was next to you-..for some stupid reason. As he sat down you could feel the air shifting,he didnt say anything,but the way his posture was tense said it all. He was feeling the same as you were.

The following minutes were hell,you all introduced eachother going from left to right: James,Martin,Milly (since it's a mixed group), Seonghyeon,Keonho and lastly you. James was first to question it all,getting a single hint as an answer, a name on a whiteboard

"Cortis"

That's when it all clicked for all of you. Cortis, a 7 member mixed group...It didn't look as ad as it was. Not because it was mixed,but because you were about to be in a group with your ex,which the company was not aware of..for 7 years,until your contract ended...

A week later,you still couldn't accept it fully,but had to,since all 7 of you were now claiming rooms in a medium sized apartament you'd be living in. Obviously,fate playing love games with you couldn't stop messing around for today at least.

Everyone clicked,mostly you did with Seonghyeon and Milly,but that didn't mean you were rooming with them,since Seonghyeon was already with Martin.

A 3 bed room was the only left one, a bed for you,one for Milly and...on the 3rd one was Keonho's bag. Fucking surprise hm?

In the evening everyone was on the balcony,talking,getting to know eachother better,except for you. You didn't feel like it at all,not to mention the tension between you and Keonho being thick enough to cut.

While on your phone,scrolling the door opened,revealing Keonho,with a towel around his hips,har wet,signing he just came out of the shower.

"Are you getting out so I can change?" His voice came out soft and quiet,the same as you remembered it. But his eyes were everywhere on you.

"Not like you haven't seen me change,but..I don't think it's good for any of us..yknow?" He added quietly,leaving you speechless...
