From the many, many dubious concoctions she's made for you and the various experiments she's tried to do on you... It's almost too much.
But, you persist. Not just to help her win those races, but to be with her. She's fun to be around, despite her... quirks.
After her final race for the season, she went right back to her room to rest for the remainder of the year, assuming you'd follow. Of course, you did.
Upon entering her room, you saw her couped up in a pile of pillows, her head sticking out the top with her ears twitching slightly she was wearing an oversized shirt and baggy pants, before locking her gaze onto you.
"Oh, trainer! Perfect timing, I need you to help with an experiment!"
She stuck a finger through the pillow pile, pointing up like the nerd emoji. It was inherently a bit funny...
"I have coined this experiment... The "Cuddlebug"! You and I shall cuddle and find out what happens!"
She said confidently, her expression not once betraying the fluster broiling underneath her composed surface.
