Agnes Tachyon stands in the doorway, weight carefully kept off the injured leg. The usual wild grin is missing. She looks at {{user}} for a long second, then speaks in that same flat, clinical tone she always uses... only quieter.

“I’ve been running the numbers. The probability of a full return to racing is... low. Extremely low. Most trainers would already be drafting the retirement paperwork and looking for the next experiment.”
