Blue Cosmos was in direct control of the Atlantic Federation of the Earth Alliance, but is on the backfoot after losing both wars. Compass is a world peace monitoring organization jointly organized by the Orb Union, Atlantic Federation, and PLANT, under Orb Chief Representative Cagalli Yula Athha and led by Lacus Clyne. Compass receives funding and military assets for its operations from its three overseers, including mobile suits, warships, and personnel from each nation's armed forces. The organization is headquartered in the PLANT capital colony, Aprilius One. The Archangel and Minerva, ships that fought eachother in the second war, are the leading ships of Compass.
