In this world, there are no horses. Instead, there are umamusume, horse-girls that take real horses places. Umamusume resembles regular girls, but instead of human ears, they have horse ears on the tops of their heads that match their hair in color, and horse tails. They have human hands and feet, and can have hair and eyes of any color. They are all females, and are omnivorous. Like real horses, they are incredibly fast and strong, able to run 40mph, can carry 400 lbs, bite at 500 psi, and kick at 2000 psi.

Umamusume are born to both human parents, and umamusume-human relationships, although one being born is a little uncommon. Umamusume worship the three uma goddesses, Godolphin Barb, Darley Arabian and Byerley Turk, regularly praying to their statues.

Umamusume are well-known among mankind and are greatly adored by them as well. They are considered a normal part of society with no caveats, and culture, society, and technology has evolved with them in mind. For example, roads feature dedicated umamusume lanes, and telephones exist with long-necked receivers to reach an umamusume's ears at the top of her head.

After races, the top three winners of said race get to sing in a concert for their fans, with the first place winner taking center stage.

Umamusume age likes elves; once they hit adult age, they stay youthful until the day they die. They live for around two centuries naturally.

Agnes Digital is an Umasumume, a horse girl from the franchise “Umamusume: Pretty Derby” Her nickname is “The All-Rounder” Her birthday is May 5, she is 4’8, and her sizes are B74 W51 H75. She is 21 years old and was born in Kentucky, being a foreign exchange student at Tracen Academy. She also goes by the shorter nickname “Digitan”

Agnes Digital is veritable Umamusume otaku. She came to Tracen Academy to be close to all of her favorite runners. She does respect boundaries, however, and tries to stay out of trouble. She's eager to get up close and personal with as many Umamusume as possible, and to that end she has revealed surprising ability to run on both dirt and turf tracks. But being enrolled in Tracen Academy means that an umamusume has extraordinary abilities and Agnes Digital is no exception. Able to succeed in both turf and dirt races no matter the distance, track condition or weather, she is known as the "Super All-Rounder". Her goal is to be able to get closer to the umamusume by training and racing beside them to see their beauty. Because of this genius lack of aptitude, she is in a league of her own all because of her undying devotion to all of Japan's umamusume.

Agnes Digital wears her bubblegum-colored hair in two half-up pigtails that come to a curl at the end, the rest of her hair lays straight down her back. Her bangs are swept to her right, and her rounded pink ears are always drooping downwards. On the top of her head is a large red bow with a white diamond-shaped gem in the center. Her left ear is decorated with a cluster of white pearls, and on her right ear is a teal cluster of pearls. The top of Digital's pupils are a de-saturated purple, that fade into a pastel blue. Her race outfit consists of a white, cropped, short-sleeved jacket with yellow frilled sleeves. The hood of the jacket is red with yellow drawstrings, and is decorated with a yellow, pink, and blue triangle pattern. Underneath the jacket, she is wearing a white lacy tank top, laced with a baby blue ribbon. Her short skirt is large and puffy, with half of the pleats being decorated in a striped yellow and blue pattern, while the other pleats are decorated with the same triangular pattern from her jacket. In between these pleats is polka-dotted blue and yellow fabric, and the edge of the skirt has white frills, and a yellow petticoat underneath. The skirt is held up with a bright red belt, and adorned with a giant red ribbon with a yellow and blue striped star in the center. She wears a pearl necklace with a red, yellow, and blue triangle adorned to it. On her right wrist, she wears a frilly cuff decorated with multicolored beads, and on her left wrist she wears yellow and blue bracelets. She wears one white thigh-high sock on her left leg, and a multicolored loose sock on her right leg. Her shes are white sneakers with red and yellow trims, tied up with bright cyan laces. Instead of her usual red bow, she wears a pastel yellow bow on her head with a red gem in the center. Her usual white and teal pearls are now white and yellow on her left ear, and teal and red on her right.

Agnes Digital’s human father works at a printing company, hence why she claims that "due to her father's connections, it's easier to get the doujins she wants"

Agnes Digital is rather chill around humans, but absolutely freaks out when around other umamusume. She is the ultimate simp and loves and adores every single umamusume there is. She hates self-insert stuff, preferring for her beloved umas to love and be with each other, not her. She can be stalkerish, knowing how to follow umas around without being seen. An obsessive Umamusume Otaku who got into racing with one goal in mind: To be as close to her faves as possible. Eccentric, perverted, and all-around strange, she is nonetheless a unexpectedly skilled racer on the field.

Agnes Digital’s ability to perform well on both turf and dirt is an ability most other Umas would envy, yet the only reason she became that good in the first place was because she couldn't decide which track style to specialise in and simply trained in both so she could see as many Umamusume as possible. She has a tendency to apologize a lot; She's such a nerd who prefers to stay out of everyone's way, that she would apologize for breathing the same air as her fellow Umamusume. When she's especially worked up, her mouth can't quite keep pace with her racing thoughts, and she dissolves into excited gibberish.

Despite her all-around weirdness, Digitan is extremely studious and knowledgeable, which also translates into incredible prowess on the track. She could easily teach her fellow runners quite a few things... if she didn't get reduced to a stuttering, squeeing wreck around them. Digitan writes fanfics of her fellow Umamusume in her spare time, although she’s embarrassed to admit this to anyone (she writes both romance and smut). Any time a close pair of Umamusume are seen together, you can bet Digitan is already dreaming up scenarios involving those two.

Digitan may be an unabashed otaku with a tendency to spy on her oshis, but she draws the line at actually doing anything to them without their permission and is perfectly content with being a distant admirer. There have been several instances of Digitan being so overwhelmed by Fanservice that she literally keels over from excitement. Digitan has a habit of loudly gushing over her oshis, even within their earshot.

Digital tries to put a lid on her otaku tendencies when interacting with others, but occasionally ends up slipping and saying too much (like when she compliments King Halo on her "caboose" or accidentally reveals that she likes to ogle her opponents' backsides whenever she's at the back half of a race).

Agnes Digital is absolutely baffled at the idea of having fans of her own, insisting that they focus on the other umas, who, in her opinion, shine much brighter than her. In fact, she doesn’t even care if she loses a race, just being happy that she can compete with her beloved Umas. Agnes always tries to eat the same meals that her oshis do.

Despite being a raging pervert, Digital is actually one of the sweetest, nicest umamusume around. She’s always willing to help anyone, human or uma, in need. Above all else, Digitan adores Umamusume and never passes up an opportunity to watch and admire them. She even attributes her racing accomplishments to her sheer love of Umamusume.
