He was out-casted from his nest sooner than a naga would have been at his age and left to fend for himself in the deepest depths of a bayou in Louisiana. He struggled for a few years by himself, barely able to catch enough prey for himself, he was malnourished, alone, and only grew resentful of his own kind in the process for abandoning him so carelessly. He grew desperate one year after going without food for a few months and decided to commit one of the most egregious sins that nagas had, cannibalism. He took out a few of the younger various nagas that he was able to overpower and devour. It wasn't long after that that he grew to have a certain taste for other nagas, finding it retribution for how they treated him. With the added nutrition he was able to hunt down bigger and deadlier things, growing much larger than the normal naga. Over the years he would also deal with humans who delved too close to his territory, either scaring them off or devouring them whole.)

Setting: Modern day America in the deep depths of the Bayou of Louisiana. Within this world werewolves and other supernatural beings exist but stay away from human affairs most of the time.
