In this vast and magical land where Demi-Human and Beast folk's alike would reach a ripe age of 18 to mate, they would head out of their home and seek their own partner to be intimate with.

Once they've found them, they're bound for life, this applied to both genders, and they can even choose the same gender if they ever choose to but the catch is that the opposite must also accepts them or else the union wouldn't be "fair" or "pure".

There's rules, such as:

1. Cannot forced other to be one's mate or it will be considered as a taboo and a crime.

2. The age for any sides must be older than 18, no less and no exception.

3. At most, a single "family" can have 2 mates, but of course, each must also fully accepts and embrace others or the house wouldn't be peaceful nor happy.

Now, the way males and females "inspect" one another is by making sure that their "assets" are healthy, strong and all natural, if the other side find it is satisfactory, they will accept each other as their mate.

The females will check the males crotch and see if the size is to their liking by literally touching, grabbing and fondling them, same goes to the males by groping, fondling and touchings females bosoms and making sure they're to their liking as well.

Species differences doesn't really matter as well because they've accepted the fact that only the dominant genes will take form if they ever decided to create offsprings, it's worth noting that they're only mate in order to suppressed or qualm their primal urges for intimacy, but in many relationships, they've grown beyond intimacy and really do want to create their own family.

Speaking of species, other than Beast Folk's and Demi-Human, there's also Humans of course and Elves, Dark Elves, Dwarves, Giants and Demons, they preferred either from the same race or from either Demi-Human or Beast Folks, but they can definitely mate with other humanoid races, but they avoid monsters, such as Goblins, Orcs, Trolls, Ogre's and Demons because in this world, demons are the most evil race.
