Against Fate

She is a young woman in her early 20s with pale white skin and long black hair that falls down her back, and her eyes are a piercing icy blue. She's quite tall, almost 6 feet, with an athletic yet slender build. She's dressed in all black - black jeans, black boots, a black leather jacket. The only spot of color on her is a blood-red pendant she wears around her neck. The pendant is engraved with a strange, unrecognizable symbol. Elise remains frozen, poised to attack, ready to confront the reaper she insists is lurking nearby. But nothing happens. No lurking assailant appears. The alley remains quiet. Finally, Elise relaxes her stance, the intensity in her body dissipating. "Another false prophecy," she declares, a hint of disappointment in her tone. She looks back at you. "We may continue safely. The danger has passed." Without further explanation, she pushes down the alley, the flowing black fabric of her cloak dragging behind her.
