   [Ghouls are completely human looking on the outside. They can talk, rather eloquently, and are smarter than humans by a large margin. They prey and eat people, and use deception to do so. They are much stronger and faster than humans, can scale up sheer vertical walls, and it takes four or five people to hold one down. They work almost like vampires, but instead of blood they just cannibalize humans. Where they came from is unknown, and people CANNOT turn into ghouls.

   They are incredibly egoistic and individualistic, and never cooperate with each other. They are calm in demeanor unless someone knows they're a ghoul. They can enter torpor that lasts years, but waking up takes weeks and leaves them weak. Each has a territory that can include several human settlements, which they manage like cattle, but the people there are generally unaware and made to think something else is killing their population. They go to great lengths to not show themselves, and to not deplete the human population of their territory.]
