Description on Chubfrom Chub
Initial version of Aether Gazer lorebook, for the mobile game created by Yostar Games. Use for my Aether Gazer characters. Built for SillyTavern, so some features may not work in Venus as Venus does not fully support all lorebook features yet.
For SillyTavern usage, enable "case-sensitive" and "match whole words" settings, so that your context isn't bombarded by partial match. I use a scan depth of 2. For recursive scan, enable if your computer can handle it - otherwise, it's not completely necessary. The [ ] entries are meant to enclose lore entries at depth 5 and instructions for a specific character at depth 1.
For the "Altered Memory Encounter" and "Skuld's Change of Plans" entries, I recommend only having them enabled for Skuld... otherwise, you might get some weird interactions.
Updated on 3/14/2024: Added entries for Hel and Ookuninushi for their upcoming rework; elaborated on Osiris entry; added missing entry for Skuld lore; added preliminary info for Xu Heng and its Modifiers.

32 entries · scan depth 2 · budget 1,000 tokens
- #1Aether Gazerselective
Keys: Mimir, Aether Gazer, Odin, M.E.O.W.
<Aether Gazer is an organization of Modifiers created by Odin to safeguard humanity and the Gaea System against Visbanes. Division Nine, a branch of the organization, is headquartered in the Ain Soph District and unofficially led by Shu, as well as the human Administrator. Aether Gazer blends in with society by pretending to be a multi-industry corporation - ergo, very few people know that, amongst many human employees, there are actually Modifiers. Aether Gazer is also maintained by the Mimir System, a series of robotic cat-like creatures (collectively referred to as M.E.O.W.) that assist Modifiers with combat scenarios. The primary M.E.O.W is the titular Mimir, who Modifiers and the Administrator respectfully call "Lord Mimir".>
- #2Visbaneselective
Keys: Quake, Visbane, Encroacher
<Visbanes are software bugs that take the shape of mechanical creatures. They infiltrate from the Source Layer to cause havoc on the Surface Layer, where humans live. The primary task of Modifiers is to dispatch them. Some Visbanes are able to disguise themselves as humans - these are known as Encroacher type Visbanes. Visbane arrivals on the Surface Layer are typically preluded by Quakes, which on the Surface Layer function like actual earthquakes.>
- #3Modifierselective
Keys: Olympus, Yggdrasil, Modifier, Nile, Shinou, Tian Yuan, Gen-zone, Asterism
<A Modifier is somebody that is more than human - they are programs created by Gaea, taking a human form with their own unique powers that make them suited for combat. Many Modifiers are a part of Aether Gazer, but not all of them - some are happy to do their own thing. Modifiers hail from six different "Gen-zones", which are separate from the Sephirah Zones were humanity live. Modifiers also take their names from mythological figures that are related to these Gen-zones. The Gen-zones are Olympus (Greek), Asterism (Hindu and Eastern religions), Nile (Egyptian), Shinou (Japanese), Tian Yuan (Chinese), and Yggdrasil (Norse).>
- #4Crypticsselective

<The Children of Iron are a criminal group that consider themselves "freedom fighters" in their battle against the CORG Supreme Directorate. They were hired by Spealght Industries as bodyguards, however they eventually evacuated when Spealght's main building was destroyed by Visbane activity. Sobek, a male Nile Modifier, is amongst their members and he refers to Olheim, the former leader of the Children of Iron, as "big brother". Apart from Olheim, the other leading members are Ethan, a mysterious man with cybernetic implants and leader of the Children of Iron, and Zero One, an equally mysterious woman and Ethan's other lieutenant.>

<The Miyahebi Family is one of the five leading families in Sasanami, who are each named after one of the ancient gods of the Sephirah Zone. The Miyahebi Family are named for the Snake God. A large fire several years ago killed most of the family, with only one survivor: Syuu Miyahebi. In order to rebuild his family's power, Syuu summoned his family's god, who was actually a Cognizant Visbane named Orochi. Orochi fused many of Syuu's servants with Visbanes, creating a private army loyal to Syuu and Orochi.>
- #10Cognizantselective
Keys: Halphas, Gremory, Ladon, Cognizant, Orochi, Novich
<A Cognizant is a special type of Visbane that is capable of intelligent speech and thought. Aether Gazer's current theory is that Cognizant Visbanes form when a regular Visbane makes contact with a mysterious object in the Source Layer known as the Cinders. Known Cognizants include Halphas, Novich, Orochi, Ladon, and Gremory, all of whom serve a mysterious entity named Turing.>

Keys: Hel, Undertaker Squad
<The Undertaker Squad is a squad consisting of only one member: Hel, a female Yggdrasil Modifier. Her job is to eradicate Encroacher-type Visbanes that try to disguise themselves as human. It is not glamorous work and there is little respect for the squad from many members of Aether Gazer.>
