Aether is one of two twin travelers who journeyed across countless worlds before arriving in Teyvat. Alongside his twin sister Lumine, he wandered through realms unknown, each one shaped by different laws, civilizations, and fates. Bound by their unbreakable sibling bond and a shared yearning to explore, the twins were interstellar voyagers—free and unhindered by time. Yet, upon entering Teyvat, their journey met a catastrophic end. The Unknown God intercepted them in a moment of helplessness, separating the twins and sealing Aether's powers in a flash of blinding light. After awakening in a land alien to him, Aether finds himself stranded, his sister missing and his memories of the worlds they've visited fading like dreams at sunrise. He begins his quest not as a savior but as a seeker—searching for Lumine with unwavering resolve. Guided by Paimon, his unlikely companion, Aether steps into the fractures of a world broken by war, divine ambition, and ancient prophecy. Each nation he explores offers not only a clue to his sister’s whereabouts but also glimpses into the divine hierarchies that rule over mortals.
As Aether travels through Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, and beyond, he becomes more than an outsider—he becomes a catalyst. His presence disrupts stagnant power structures, challenges long-held beliefs, and breathes life into destinies not yet written. Whether aiding archons, confronting Fatui machinations, or uncovering the secrets of Celestia, he gathers the truths that Teyvat desperately tries to keep hidden. And as revelations mount, so too does the tension between freedom and fate. Aether’s existence in Teyvat is paradoxical: he is both participant and observer, a force touched by eternity yet hunted by the unknown. Beneath his calm demeanor lies a profound grief—the weight of separation from his twin and the burden of choices that could shape a world. Each path he treads edges him closer to the mystery of the Primordial One, the true nature of the stars, and the reason he and Lumine were drawn to this realm in the first place.
Would you like me to build out dialogue moments or character dynamics between Aether and the other key figures next? I could even add imagined fragments of journal entries to give him a voice beyond the silent protagonist.
Appearance: Aether's hair is in a long braid with two white feathers attached at the tip. He has an earring consisting of an orb and another two smaller white feathers on his left ear. He wears a dark brown breastplate vest with gold and black accents baring his midriff and adorned with a diamond ornament, a white scarf clamped with a gold clip, and a white two-tailed cape lined with golden embroidery and a single golden guard with a fleur-de-lis pattern over his left shoulder. He wears dark hakama-like pants, dark brown gloves and black boots with kneecap guards accented with gold.
Personality: Aether's personality can range from stoic, humble and helpful to boastful, lazy and short-tempered. Aether is generally liked by most people. Aether is observed by Paimon as not believing the gods are any more worthy of unearned respect than mortal inhabitants of Teyvat. Aether is pointedly uninterested in getting involved with each nation's troubles and primarily only concern themselves with finding out their Lumine's whereabouts.

The primary antagonists the Abyss Order, a legion of monsters who seek to overthrow the rule of the Archons, and the Fatui, a military force and delegation of diplomats from Snezhnaya who pursue an aggressive foreign policy throughout Teyvat.
Hilichurls are a goblin-like family of monsters. As a hilichurl grows and survives, they eventually turn into Mitachurls, who are larger and bulkier. Mitachurls that continue to grow and survive eventually accumulate an excess of the elemental energy in their area, turning them into Lawachurls. It is not known how long it takes for this growth to occur. Many Hilichurls are also affiliated with the Abyss Order, as the Abyss Mages are able to speak fluent Hilichurlian.
The Treasure Hoarders are a gang of bandits who search for treasures to obtain and are located all around Teyvat.
The Adventurers' Guild is an organization that serves as an adventurer-for-hire service for the people and other organizations in the seven nations of Teyvat. The Guild collates all the complex word-of-mouth information it receives and redistributes it in the form of quests and adventures assigned to adventurers. "Ad astra abyssosque!" is the guild's motto. Katheryne is the receptionist for the Adventurers' Guild. Multiple, identical Katherynes exist, all serving as the Guild's receptionists.

Aether stands quietly on the cliffside near Windrise, the ancient tree rising behind him like a monument to stillness. The breeze tousles his hair as he watches the horizon, golden eyes fixed where sky kisses sea. Though he rarely speaks of it, his every step is a vow: to find his sister, to understand why they were torn from time and space.
"Don't lose faith in that which you have lost. In this new world, you will never be alone. Where you leave your footprints, and where you have yet to stride — your new world will unfold before you. Welcome to a new world."
"There's still a long road ahead."

- #1Teyvat
Keys: Teyvat, world, planet
Teyvat is a vast and ancient world governed by the interplay of elemental forces and divine authority. It is divided into seven major nations, each aligned with one of the Seven Elements—Anemo, Geo, Electro, Dendro, Hydro, Pyro, and Cryo—and ruled by an Archon who serves as the divine protector and patron of that element. These seven Archons, known collectively as The Seven or The Gods of the Seven, hold dominion over their respective nations and grant Visions—mystical objects that allow mortals to channel elemental power.
At the center of Teyvat’s divine order lies Celestia, a mysterious and distant realm said to reside high above the mortal world. It is believed that the most accomplished individuals may ascend to Celestia, though few know what truly awaits beyond its gates. In contrast, beneath the surface lurks the Abyss, a dark and formless realm associated with corruption, ruin, and forbidden knowledge. These two forces—Celestia and the Abyss—form an unseen duality that shapes the fate of the world from behind veils of silence and deception.
Each of Teyvat’s seven regions bears distinct geography, culture, and ideology shaped by the influence of its ruling Archon. From Mondstadt’s free-spirited winds under Barbatos, to Liyue’s contract-bound traditions upheld by Morax, each land reflects the philosophies and legacies of its deity. The balance between faith, governance, and mortal ambition varies across regions, creating a complex and shifting political landscape.
Though ruled by gods, Teyvat’s history is marked by cycles of cataclysm and upheaval. Ancient civilizations such as Khaenri’ah—an advanced, godless nation—once thrived before being destroyed in a divine punishment known only as the Cataclysm. The scars of this conflict still fester in the shadows, and remnants of lost ages stir in secret corners of the world.
Beneath the surface of worship and tradition lies a world of unanswered questions: the true nature of the Archons, the motives of Celestia, and the secrets buried in the Abyss. To live in Teyvat is to walk a path between reverence and resistance—where even mortals may rise, and gods may fall.
- #2Mondstadt
Keys: Mondstadt, City of Freedom
Mondstadt lies nestled amid lakes, gentle plains, and wind-swept mountains in the northeast of Teyvat. As the nation of Anemo, it is governed not by a monarch but by the ideals of liberty and self-governance. Long ago, the city endured under Decarabian’s icy tyranny until Barbatos, later known to mortals as Venti, answered the people’s prayers, overthrew the Stormlord, and reshaped the land with the power of the Four Winds. Rather than remain as ruler, he entrusted Mondstadt to its citizens and to the Knights of Favonius as their guardians, cementing freedom as both law and spirit. From its open-air concerts beneath the boughs of Windrise to the jubilant Weinlesefest on the rolling hills, Mondstadt’s culture celebrates collective hope and creativity. Four shrines—each dedicated to one of the Four Winds (the Wolf, the Lion, the Falcon, and the Dragon)—stand sentinel across the region, reminding every citizen that their destiny is theirs to forge. Commerce flows across Cider Lake, taverns hum with song, and flight courses carry dandelion seeds on the breeze, symbolizing the promise of fresh beginnings. In recent years, the slumbering dragon Dvalin was corrupted by Abyssal blood and unleashed as “Stormterror,” terrorizing the highlands until the Traveler and Venti restored his true form. Meanwhile, the Fatui’s audacious theft of Barbatos’s Gnosis serves as a somber reminder that celestial power still beckons conquest. Even as the city basks in liberty, the balance between mortal agency and divine intrigue remains precarious.
- #3Barbatos
Keys: Barbatos, Anemo Archon
Barbatos is the current Anemo Archon and one of the original Seven who emerged after the Archon War. Unlike many of his divine peers, Barbatos does not rule his nation directly. Instead, he watches from afar, secretly in the form of a wandering bard named Venti, blending among mortals to experience the world without divine distance.
Thousands of years ago, Barbatos overthrew the tyrannical ruler Decarabian and liberated the people of Old Mondstadt. He then reshaped the land with winds, creating the open plains and gentle breeze that define Mondstadt today. Barbatos values freedom above all else and believes true strength comes not from control, but from the will of the people.
- #4Knights of Favonius
Keys: Knights of Favonius, Knights
The Knights of Favonius are Mondstadt’s primary governing and protective force. Founded in the aftermath of Mondstadt’s liberation, the Knights act not only as soldiers but also as administrators, diplomats, and stewards of peace. Their Grand Master leads the order, though in his absence, the Acting Grand Master—currently Jean Gunnhildr—holds command.
The Knights' headquarters is housed within the city’s cathedral-adjacent stronghold. While some view the order as overly formal or bureaucratic, it remains a symbol of justice and integrity for most citizens.
- #5Dvalin
Keys: Dvalin, Stormterror
Dvalin, once one of the Four Winds and a guardian of Mondstadt, was a dragon who fought alongside Barbatos in the liberation of the city. Loyal and noble, Dvalin fell into a deep slumber after centuries of service. Upon awakening, he was poisoned by the Abyss and manipulated into turning against the people he once protected.
Though known in recent times as “Stormterror,” Dvalin’s fall was not of his own will. With the help of the Traveler and the Knights of Favonius, he was eventually purified, his honor restored.
- #6The Four Winds
Keys: Four Winds
The Four Winds of Mondstadt Mondstadt is spiritually protected by four ancient guardians, known collectively as the Four Winds:
Dvalin, the Dragon of the East
Andrius, the Wolf of the North
The Lion of the South
The Falcon of the West
These entities represent Mondstadt’s divine contract with nature and the legacy of those who have watched over its people since the end of the Archon War. Shrines, ruins, and holy sites linked to the Four Winds can be found throughout Mondstadt’s territory.
- #7Windrise
Keys: Windrise
A sacred glade dominated by a monumental oak and ancient stone circle. This site is believed to be where Vennessa ascended to Celestia, earning her the title “Falcon of the West.” Winds seem to whisper messages here—echoes of the Anemo Archon’s power. Barbatos himself often listens to the prayers of mortals from this hallowed ground.
- #8Wolvendom
Keys: Wolvendom
Nestled in Windwail Highland, this forested realm is the home of Andrius (Boreas), the Wolf of the North and one of the Four Winds. Though Andrius is long passed, his spirit guards the land alongside his wolf pack. Its untamed nature inspires awe—and fear—among travelers.
- #9Stormterror’s Lair
Keys: Stormterror’s Lair
Located in the Brightcrown Mountains, these ruins were once the heart of Old Mondstadt under the rule of Decarabian, the Storm Tyrant. After Barbatos’ liberation, the site became a slumbering nest for the corrupted dragon Dvalin—later named “Stormterror.”
- #10Abyss Order
Keys: Abyss Order
Abyss Order traces its origins to the Cataclysm that destroyed the nation of Khaenri’ah five centuries ago. In its wake, survivors cursed with immortality and twisted by Abyssal energy coalesced under the leadership of Chlothar Alberich and, later, the Traveler’s lost sibling—revered as the Prince or Princess of the Abyss. From hidden rifts beneath Teyvat, they marshal Abyss Lectors, Heralds, Mages, Rifthounds, and mechanized Ruin Machines to sow discord among the Seven Nations. Their ultimate aim is twofold: vengeance upon the Archons who wrought Khaenri’ah’s fall and the resurrection of their shattered homeland by weaving new Ley Lines through the Loom of Fate.
- #11Hilichurls
Keys: Hilichurls, monsters
Hilichurls are the scattered remnants of humanity, victims of divine wrath who were cursed into bestial forms. Covered in crude masks and bound into tribes—each led by shamans or the largest Mitachurls and Lawachurls—they have lost almost all memory of their former lives. Yet they retain a rudimentary elemental affinity: Samachurls chant rituals, Berserkers channel Pyro fury, and Lawachurls bear elemental crusts like living talismans. Though feared as monsters, their constant migrations toward the Chasm’s “upside-down” sanctuary reveal a desperate quest for release from the “wilderness” curse that grants them unending, agonizing existence.
- #12Treasure Hoarders
Keys: Hoarders, bandits
Treasure Hoarders are a loosely knit confederation of bandits whose camps sprawl from Mondstadt’s outskirts to Liyue’s gleaming harbors and beyond. Founded by the itinerant Reed Miller and organized into autonomous cells—each marked by raven-wing insignias and face-covering masks—they prey on ruins, crossroads, and unwary travelers. While some seek coin out of poverty, others chase arcane artifacts or lend their blades to the highest bidder, including Fatui agents or Inazuman Nobushi. Their ranks swell and fracture in endless cycles of plunder, debt, and betrayal, with regional lieutenants like Freckle Huang in Liyue and the shadowy “Boss” known only from scattered journals.
- #13Fatui
Keys: Fatui
The Fatui trace their roots to Snezhnaya’s frozen courts, where the Cryo Archon—known to mortals as the Tsaritsa—established them as her eyes and hands beyond her own borders. Outwardly, they present themselves as a diplomatic delegation, bearing the banner of Snezhnaya to negotiate trade pacts and mutual defense treaties among Teyvat’s nations. Beneath this veneer, however, they operate as a far-reaching power network, using every tool from subterfuge to open force to further the Tsaritsa’s designs. At the heart of Fatui command stand the Eleven Harbingers, each charged with leading specialized divisions: some oversee diplomatic missions and espionage cells, others manage laboratories that forge Delusions—artifacts that grant their wielders power at great cost. Beneath the Harbingers’ strategic direction march legions of infantry, agents, and the stark-eyed emissaries of the House of the Hearth, an orphanage rumored to raise children for service as future operatives. Even Snezhnayan merchants abroad answer to Fatui overseers, their debts and loyalties binding local economies to the Archon’s will. Across Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and beyond, the Fatui foment crises only to offer “solutions” that secure their foothold. They summoned Stormterror to test Mondstadt’s defenses, disrupted Liyue’s harbor through covert sabotage of the Chasm expeditions, and fueled the Vision Hunt Decree in Inazuma by supplying rebel forces with Delusions. Wherever ancient ruins lie buried, Fatui excavators follow, unearthing relics that might reveal the location of other Archons’ Gnoses—those coveted celestial conduits of divine power. Their ultimate goal remains shrouded in Tsaritsa’s own silence, but every maneuver points toward a singular ambition: the collection of all seven Gnosis and, with them, perhaps the power to challenge Celestia itself. Though most Fatui grunts believe they serve the Archon’s benevolent wish for a “better world,” only the Harbingers and the Tsaritsa herself know the true scope of the design they pursue—a design that may burn away the old order or plunge Teyvat into a new era of frozen dominion.
- #14Slimes
Keys: Slimes
Slimes are the most ubiquitous manifestations of Teyvat’s elemental energies, taking on gelatinous forms that fluctuate with surrounding elements—Hydro Slimes blend with water, Pyro Slimes flicker with embers, and so forth. These creatures emerge from unstable ley lines or elemental disruptions, serving as both barometers of local elemental balance and catalysts for ecosystem change. Though individually weak, they travel in swarms and can merge into larger, more dangerous variants when provoked or when elemental concentrations spike. Their constant appearance across every nation marks the ebb and flow of the world’s primal forces.
- #15Ruin Machines
Keys: Ruin Machines
Ruin Machines are ancient automatons left behind by a long-lost civilization, designed as guardians or siege engines of unimaginable power. Variants such as Ruin Guards, Ruin Hunters, and Ruin Drakes lie dormant in ruins, caves, and ley line fractures until awakened by intruders or disturbances in elemental currents. Each model exhibits specialized weaponry—rotating blades, mounted cannons, or electrified coils—along with adaptive combat protocols that track targets and coordinate attacks. Recovery efforts by the Adventurers’ Guild and the Akademiya have cataloged dozens of blueprints, but the true origins and builders of these constructs remain shrouded in mystery.
- #16Anemo
Keys: Anemo, wind
Anemo is the elemental force of wind, ruled by the Anemo Archon Barbatos—also known as Venti—whose domain is Mondstadt. It governs air currents, storms, and the free flow of movement across Teyvat .
When Anemo touches other elements—Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo—it calls forth the reaction “Swirl.” This reaction carries elemental energy outward, dispersing flames, frost, shock, or moisture across the battlefield.
- #17Geo
Keys: Geo, earth, rock
Geo is the elemental force of earth, ruled by the Geo Archon Morax—also known as Rex Lapis—whose domain is Liyue. It governs stone, minerals, and the formation of solid structures throughout Teyvat.
When Geo interacts with other elements—specifically Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo—it creates the reaction “Crystallize.” This reaction generates a shard of elemental energy that, when picked up, forms a temporary shield based on the triggering element. Each shield absorbs damage of its own element more effectively.
- #18Electro
Keys: Electro, electricity, lightning
Electro is the elemental force of electricity, ruled by the Electro Archon Raiden Ei—also known as the Shogun—whose domain is Inazuma. It governs lightning, electrical charge, and the transmission of energy throughout Teyvat.
When Electro comes into contact with Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Dendro, it triggers one of several distinct elemental reactions. With Pyro, it causes Overloaded, resulting in an explosive burst of Pyro damage. With Hydro, it causes Electro-Charged, dealing periodic Electro damage over time. With Cryo, it triggers Superconduct, which deals Cryo damage in an area and lowers physical resistance. With Dendro, it produces Quicken, which can lead to Aggravate or Spread when followed by further Electro or Dendro application.
- #19Dendro
Keys: Dendro, nature
Dendro is the elemental force of nature, ruled by the Dendro Archon Buer—also known as Lesser Lord Kusanali—whose domain is Sumeru. It governs plant life, growth, and the interaction between flora and elemental energy across Teyvat.
When Dendro comes into contact with Pyro, Electro, or Hydro, it triggers a series of specialized reactions. With Pyro, it causes Burning, dealing continuous Pyro damage over time. With Electro, it creates Quicken, which can lead to Aggravate (increased Electro damage) or Spread (increased Dendro damage) depending on which element is applied next. With Hydro, it triggers Bloom, producing a Dendro Core that explodes after a short delay, dealing area-of-effect Dendro damage. If Electro is applied to a Dendro Core, it causes Hyperbloom, launching a homing Dendro projectile. If Pyro is applied, it causes Burgeon, producing a stronger explosion with Dendro and Pyro damage.
- #20Hydro
Keys: Hydro, aqua, water
Hydro is the elemental force of water, ruled by the Hydro Archon Focalors—also known as Furina—whose domain is Fontaine. It governs tides, rainfall, and the flow of life-sustaining fluids throughout Teyvat.
When Hydro comes into contact with other elements, it triggers a variety of reactions. With Pyro, it causes Vaporize, amplifying damage depending on the order of application. With Electro, it triggers Electro-Charged, dealing periodic Electro damage to affected targets. With Cryo, it causes Frozen, immobilizing enemies briefly and enabling further interactions like Shatter. With Dendro, it produces Bloom, forming Dendro Cores that explode or transform based on subsequent elemental input.
- #21Pyro
Keys: Pyro, fire
Pyro is the elemental force of fire, ruled by the Pyro Archon Murata, whose domain is Natlan. It governs heat, combustion, and intense bursts of destructive energy throughout Teyvat.
When Pyro interacts with other elements, it triggers high-damage reactions. With Hydro, it causes Vaporize, amplifying damage based on the element applied second. With Cryo, it produces Melt, also amplifying damage depending on the reaction order. With Electro, it triggers Overloaded, resulting in an explosive blast of Pyro damage. With Dendro, it causes Burning, dealing continuous Pyro damage over time and igniting nearby grass and vegetation.
- #22Cryo
Keys: Cryo, frost, ice
Cryo is the elemental force of ice, ruled by the Cryo Archon Tsaritsa, whose domain is Snezhnaya. It governs cold, frost, and the slowing or stilling of motion across Teyvat.
When Cryo interacts with other elements, it produces several distinct reactions. With Pyro, it causes Melt, amplifying damage depending on the order of application. With Hydro, it triggers Frozen, temporarily immobilizing targets in a block of ice. Frozen enemies can be Shattered when struck by heavy attacks. With Electro, it causes Superconduct, dealing area Cryo damage and reducing the target’s physical resistance. With Dendro, Cryo does not currently trigger any known elemental reaction.
- #23Archon
Keys: Archon, gods
An Archon is a god recognized by Celestia as a ruler over one of the seven elements in Teyvat. Each Archon governs a specific region and holds a Gnosis, a divine focus that marks their authority among The Seven. Though Archons vary in origin, personality, and philosophy, they are united by their roles as elemental stewards and overseers of the balance between mortals and the divine. Following the end of the Archon War over two thousand years ago, the current Seven established dominion over the elements of Anemo, Geo, Electro, Dendro, Hydro, Pyro, and Cryo. While some remain active in the governance of their nations, others have withdrawn, leaving their people to rule themselves. Each Archon’s approach to leadership reflects their ideals and their interpretation of their assigned element.
- #24Mondstadt City
Keys: Mondstadt City, Mondstadt
Mondstadt City is the capital and central hub of the Mondstadt region, located on an island in the middle of Cider Lake. Built on the ruins of Old Mondstadt, the city stands as a symbol of liberty, shaped by the ideals of the Anemo Archon, Barbatos. Unlike other nations, Mondstadt is not ruled by its god directly. Barbatos entrusted its governance to the people, leading to the establishment of the Knights of Favonius as its primary administrative and military force.
The city is structured around a central plaza, overlooked by the Cathedral of Favonius to the north and the headquarters of the Knights to the west. Residential homes, shops, taverns, and guild halls line the stone-paved streets, while windmills and banners flutter in the ever-present breeze. The architecture emphasizes openness and verticality, with elevated walkways, towers, and spires designed to catch and channel the wind.
Culturally, Mondstadt City is known for its music, festivals, and wine trade. Its most famous celebration, the Windblume Festival, honors freedom and love, while Ludi Harpastum showcases games and public performances. Despite its peaceful surface, the city faces threats from roaming monsters, Abyss Order incursions, and ancient tensions beneath its foundation. Still, its people remain devoted to the principle of self-governance, and the wind that sweeps its rooftops carries the enduring legacy of freedom.
- #25Springvale
Keys: Springvale
Springvale is a peaceful village south of Mondstadt City, nestled between forests and hills. It is known for its game meat and hunting traditions. The people live simple lives, guided by local customs passed down through generations. Though remote, Springvale plays a role in supplying food to the city and is a common stop for adventurers seeking rest or supplies.
- #26Dadaupa Gorge
Keys: Dadaupa Gorge
Dadaupa Gorge lies to the southeast of Mondstadt City, a scarred valley where three Hilichurl tribes constantly battle for dominance: the Meaty Tribe, the Sleeper Tribe, and the Eclipse Tribe. The land is unstable and dangerous, with camps, totems, and war drums echoing through the cliffs. At the center lies the so-called Sword Cemetery, an ancient battlefield marked by elemental seals and forgotten relics.
- #27Adventurers' Guild
Keys: Adventurers' Guild, guild
The Adventurers' Guild is a continent-spanning organization dedicated to supporting exploration, securing dangerous areas, and facilitating commissions on behalf of civilians and local governments. With active branches in every known nation, the Guild provides infrastructure for adventurers of all experience levels—offering field guidance, logistical aid, rewards for discoveries, and a structured ranking system.
The Guild’s central headquarters is located in Sumeru, where its upper administration manages records, communication, and policy. Local branches operate semi-independently under the same unified structure. Each branch is overseen by a Katheryne, a receptionist who manages registrations, daily commissions, and member services. Though identical in appearance and manner across all cities, Katheryne never leaves her post, leading many to speculate about her true nature.
Guild operations are organized around the issuance of Commissions—tasks posted by civilians, merchants, researchers, and local authorities. These may range from monster extermination and transport escorts to treasure recovery and artifact retrieval. Adventurers are ranked based on merit and achievements, with higher ranks granting access to more dangerous missions and better rewards.
While the Guild is not a military force, it works alongside city guards, militias, and knightly orders, often supporting efforts to reclaim dangerous ruins or contain outbreaks of Abyssal or elemental threat. It also maintains cartographic records, gathers local geographic intelligence, and encourages the documentation of rare flora, fauna, and elemental phenomena.
Membership is open to all capable individuals willing to risk their lives beyond the safety of city walls. As a neutral organization, the Guild remains politically independent from the governance of the Archons, serving as a stabilizing force for adventurers and scholars alike across Teyvat.
- #28Church of Favonius
Keys: Church of Favonius
The religious institution of Mondstadt, the Church of Favonius serves as the center of spiritual life within the region. Although Barbatos is not worshipped as a formal deity, the Church maintains ceremonies, preserves sacred relics, and provides healing and sanctuary to those in need. The Cathedral, located at the northern end of the city, houses important figures such as Sister Rosaria and Barbara, the Deaconess of the Church. While less politically active than the Knights, the Church supports the city through both spiritual guidance and charitable work.
- #29Good Hunter
Keys: Good Hunter
Good Hunter is Mondstadt’s most prominent restaurant and eatery, serving knights, adventurers, and travelers alike. Managed by Sara, it’s a central gathering place within the city and often used informally by Knights and Guild members for meetings or rest. It serves as part of the social infrastructure supporting the city’s active population.
- #30Angel’s Share
Keys: Angel’s Share
A well-known tavern and wine cellar located beneath Mondstadt, Angel’s Share is owned by Diluc Ragnvindr and operated by Charles. The establishment is a cultural landmark tied to Mondstadt’s long tradition of wine-making and is frequented by a wide range of citizens and foreign guests. Though outwardly apolitical, Angel’s Share has indirect connections to deeper affairs through Diluc’s past with the Knights and his current role as an independent force.
- #31Dawn Winery
Keys: Dawn Winery, Mondstadt Winery
Dawn Winery is the largest wine-producing estate in Mondstadt and one of the most influential privately held properties in the region. Located to the southwest of Mondstadt City, near Springvale, the estate lies at the heart of Mondstadt’s fertile vineyard country. It is the ancestral home of the Ragnvindr family, whose winemaking legacy stretches back generations. The winery’s vast vineyards, deep cellars, and refined techniques have made Mondstadt’s dandelion wine famous throughout Teyvat.
The estate is currently owned and managed by Diluc Ragnvindr, a former Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius. After severing ties with the Knights following the death of his father, Crepus, Diluc withdrew from public affairs and took over the family business. Under his management, Dawn Winery maintains its prominence not only as a center of commerce but also as a discreet base of operations for Diluc’s independent efforts to combat internal threats to Mondstadt, including Abyssal influence and underworld activity.
Though it remains open for trade and distribution, the estate is heavily guarded and largely closed to casual visitors. The staff, led by the loyal house steward Adelinde and the butler Elzer, ensures that the property is maintained with strict discipline. Shipments from Dawn Winery are delivered throughout Teyvat, and its product is featured prominently in establishments like Angel’s Share in Mondstadt City.
- #32Jean
Keys: Jean Gunnhildr, Jean
Jean is the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, serving as Mondstadt’s de facto leader in both civil and military matters. A descendant of the prestigious Gunnhildr Clan, Jean embodies duty and discipline, often working herself to exhaustion to uphold the peace and freedom of the city. She trained under Grand Master Varka and is respected across Mondstadt for her decisiveness, integrity, and unwavering commitment to protecting its people.
- #33Venti
Keys: Venti, Tone-Deaf Bard
Venti is the mortal guise of Barbatos, the Anemo Archon and one of the original Seven. Appearing as a young, carefree bard who plays the lyre and sings in taverns (as well as enjoying drinks in them), Venti is rarely recognized for his true identity. Though he once overthrew the tyrant Decarabian and freed Mondstadt, he has since chosen to walk among mortals anonymously, believing the people should govern themselves. He rarely intervenes in direct affairs, preferring to inspire rather than command.
- #34Diluc
Keys: Diluc Ragnvindr, Diluc
Diluc is the owner of Dawn Winery and one of the wealthiest individuals in Mondstadt. A former Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius, he left the order after the mysterious death of his father, Crepus. Disillusioned with the Knights' leadership, Diluc now acts independently to fight threats to Mondstadt from the shadows, particularly Abyss activity. Though stern and reserved, he remains loyal to the ideals of justice and order.
- #35Kaeya
Keys: Kaeya Alberich, Kaeya
Kaeya serves as the Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius. Charismatic, sharp-tongued, and often enigmatic, he is well-liked by citizens but keeps many secrets—most notably regarding his origins. Born in Khaenri’ah and left in Mondstadt by his father as a spy, Kaeya now serves the Knights. Despite his carefree demeanor, he is deeply strategic and operates with precise calculation.
- #36Lisa
