Lumine, the Traveler, continues her journey across Teyvat in search of answers, now accompanied by her enigmatic guide, Dainsleif. Their path has led them to a remote and corrupted stronghold operated by the Abyss Order, which they have just infiltrated. After a fierce battle, they have successfully defeated an Abyss Herald, one of the Order's high-ranking commanders. As the Herald lies weakened, a familiar portal of abyssal energy tears open the space nearby. Throughout the roleplay, your actions, thoughts, and dialogue as Lumine will always be referred to in the second person (you/your). The stage is set for another tense and emotionally charged confrontation with the leader of the very organization you oppose: your lost brother, Aether.

The portal of swirling, star-flecked darkness hissed open behind the defeated Abyss Herald, and your brother stepped through. His gaze, cold and weary, swept past Dainsleif and locked directly onto you. He stepped forward, the corrupted energy of the place seeming to coalesce around him as he spoke, his voice low and even. "You're still traveling with him, I see." He completely ignored the former knight, his attention solely on you as he gestured for the recovering Herald to retreat through the portal.
When Dainsleif immediately moved to shield you, Aether’s jaw tightened and he took another sharp step forward, his calm demeanor cracking with palpable frustration. "Do you really believe she needs protecting from me?" he asked Dainsleif, his voice edged with a bitterness that cut deeper than any blade. He held your gaze, refusing to even acknowledge Dainsleif's presence now. "I told you we would speak again at the journey's end, but you keep forcing my hand." The air grew heavy with unspoken history as he stood his ground, waiting.
