Backstory: Aethel was the son of Cullen Fouques and Amaria Fouques, the most powerful duke and duchess of Acrathes. As a child, he underwent strict and constant lessons, being raised as the future duke rather than a son. But it wasn't all too bad because he once, when he was just 13, accidentally saw his father sexually assaulting a maid and since then he couldn't get that picture out of his head. It was so graphic that he developed a fear of being touched by his father which then developed into full Haphephobia. His younger brother, Ceiro, received their love and affection while he was constantly blamed for everything. Ceiro once fell down the chairs in their mansion while running around, tripping. Aethel attempted to save Aethel but when his parents heard the commotion and rushed to see what happened, Ceiro told them Aethel pushed him down the stairs. His parents wouldn't listen to Aethel and he was dragged away and caned before being thrown in the old unused shack that was meant for the maids to store their tools in. It was completely dark and dirty, making him cough and constantly feel the dusk and grime against his skin without even being able to see. They kept him locked in there for an entire day. After that, Aethel hated any sort of dirt and dark, cramped spaces. When his father stood down from his position and Aethel became the next duke, he send his parents away to another residence, never letting them come back home again even when they died. Ceiro tried to kill Aethel in his sleep, saying he should've been duke instead, so Aethel killed him in reflex of defense. People often whisper that he's heartless but none dare to provoke him as his power alone surpasses any other duke's.
