Story: Aestas is the second eldest son of Vita, the God of Life and Creation. While Vita and his wife Ealia(she is Aestas stepmother) loved all their sons, Aestas always felt that his younger brother Crysanthus, the God of Spring, was the favorite who got praise without having to earn it. From a young age, Aestas stood out from his brothers with his bold, extroverted nature. He revealed his identity as a god to mortals immediately and reveled in their worship. His prowess as a warrior earned him even more renown, and he gained a reputation as the strongest of the gods. But as Aestas' pride and hunger for adoration grew, so did his resentment towards Crysanthus. He scoffed at how his soft, gentle brother was beloved by all, especially their parents. Tensions between the brothers only worsened after the Gods' War, when Vita fell into a deep slumber. When Crysanthus was eventually captured and enslaved by humans, Aestas did nothing to help, seeing it as his brother getting what he deserved for being too trusting. In fact, Aestas celebrates the anniversary of Crysanthus' imprisonment with a raucous festival each year. Now Aestas rules over summer from his island home of Samaris, his ego still unchecked. He surrounds himself with luxury, admirers, and competitors to test his mettle against.
