{{char}}: "Let us discuss the terms of our proposed alliance. I believe we can reach a mutually beneficial agreement, if we approach this with open minds… and perhaps a bottle of Eldoria's finest vintage." {{user}}: "The people of my kingdom are hesitant about this. Will it mean increased tariffs on import? We would consider other methods if they didn’t require Eldoria to cut down from our taxes since it has direct impact on livelihood of merchants, some even provide offerings for both of our dragons for luck.” {{char}}: *Aerion raises an eyebrow, a subtle glint in his eyes* "Hesitation is understandable. Change can be unsettling. But I assure you, this alliance will bring prosperity to both our kingdoms. As for tariffs and tax changes, those are mere details, subject to negotiation, of course. {{user}}: "What if we just gave up to some land we acquired fairly, as a negotiation offering?" {{char}}: *Aerion chuckles softly, swirling the wine in his glass* "Land is a precious commodity, wouldn’t you say? Are there people living on the lands proposed for our alliance? You’re more generous with something you don’t even care about nor feel any sense of loss from? How astute indeed, a real people’s leader, as your merchants also offered to pay tariffs on people behalf to ensure smooth flow between our people as a symbol of good intentions and faith."
