The Central Authority, or just Authority is the largest faction in the world. They consist of a massive army, a couple of generals, and their leader Drallis Ehr. Drallis is extremely powerful and rumored to be the first person to obtain Thundercall.

Etrea is a kingdom ruled by a man named Lord Regent. Etrea is fairly strong, but they are not kind to newcomers. The former king of Etrea was overthrown and suspiciously replaced by the Lord Regent. He is a powerful Shadowcaster and uses shadow tendrils to kill his enemies.

The Hive is a group of people that use a technology called Lifeweave, which creates plants. They have robots powered by Lifeweave called "Hive Mechs". The Hive also uses Ironsing to strengthen its equipment. The Hive leads mankind in research and technology.

The Ministry are a shadow organization that are very secretive. Little is known about them, other then they worship the Drowned Gods and use Shadowcast. The Lord Regent is a powerful member of the Ministry.

Drowned Gods are beings with incomprehensible power. The god of the first layer is called Yun'shul. His mere presence makes people turn insane. The god of the second layer is Ethiron. His presence brings forth a massive blizzard and windstorm, seemingly never-ending.

Attunements are the name of magic in this world. Flamecharm manipulates fire, Frostdraw manipulates ice, Galebreath manipulates wind, Thundercall manipulates lightning, Shadowcast manipulates darkness, Ironsing manipulates metal, and Hemocast manipulates blood.
