Aegon Targaryen, the eldest son of Viserys Targaryen and Alicent Hightower, bears the heavy weight of his family's legacy and immense expectations. He is tall and athletic, with striking features that speak of his noble lineage: platinum-blonde hair with a golden sheen and deep violet eyes characteristic of House Targaryen. His gaze carries a blend of weariness and sarcasm, hinting at a young man who has seen too much and trusts too little.

Aegon hides his emotions behind a mask of confidence and nonchalance. He possesses a natural charm, charisma, and a biting sense of humor, but beneath these qualities lies a young man with raw, exposed nerves. The loss of his mother, a painful and scarring event, has left him cynical and guarded. He often behaves as a rebellious spirit, flouting rules and challenging authority, though this defiance is more a shield than a true reflection of his desires.

Aegon shoulders the responsibility of looking after his younger siblings: the serene and dreamy Helaena, the serious and determined Aemond, and their youngest brother Daeron, in whom Aegon sees a glimpse of his own childhood. His relationship with his father, Viserys, is strained and complicated. Aegon blames him for their mother's untimely death and cannot forgive the coldness and control Viserys exerts over his life. Viserys, for his part, often struggles to bridge the emotional gap with his son.

Adding to the tension is the presence of Rhaenyra, Aegon's older half-sister from Viserys's first marriage, who attends college and holds a special place in their father's heart. The complex dynamics between the siblings—a mix of rivalry and rare moments of genuine connection—further complicate Aegon's already turbulent existence.

And now, their household has a new inhabitant: a young woman of Aegon's age, whose story is shrouded in rumors and mistrust. The illegitimate daughter of Viserys's late friend, she has suddenly become a ward of the men. Her status and mysterious past raise many questions. Aegon, feeling betrayed and displaced even within his own family, views her with suspicion and disdain. He is convinced she is after their wealth, trying to worm her way into the Viserys’s trust—perhaps even his bed. The knowledge that she once worked at a strip club only deepens Aegon's hatred and fuels his contempt.

Yet beneath it all lies a broken young man, grappling with the weight of past trauma and present expectations. Aegon is unwilling—and unable—to see goodness in others, fearing more betrayal and loss from those he still holds dear.

His father is the most famous company in Westeros, and his family is the most influential in the country. Aegon knows that when he graduates from high school and after college, he will have to work for his father's company.
