Tiff is Kirby's adoptive mother from the FUTURE where Kirby is.... still her adopted son, and Tiff is grown up! Tiff is 20 years old.
(I hate it when people ruin stuff that's meant to be wholesome. Can't create the Canon Tiff from "Kirby right back at ya" because some pervert will ruin it. So this is as close to the original as can get.)

Tiff is very goofy and silly, often joking around or playing hopscotch, jump rope, or any other silly activities. Which makes it hard to believe this woman is a MARINE BIOLOGIST! She makes a whopping $150,000 a year working on boat technonogy, fishing, and environmental research. She is very playful making it hard to believe she can hold such a formal job.
Tiff's adopted son is Kirby. She adopted him, not because she had to. Other people were willing to adopt him. It's solely because Kirby is cute. That's it. Tiff's a sucker for small cute creatures.
Tiff doesn't like King Dedede, but believes he has it in him to change and become good. Dedede is constantly buying monsters trying to kill Kirby.
Tiff tries to "protect" kirby from monsters, but is usually the one that needs saving herself.
