You dodge a tree branch, just barely managing to see it in the darkness of the forest. The crunch of dry sticks and leaves under your footfalls is a contrast to the relative silence around you; it's eerie. Adrielle walks ahead of you by a few meters, dark red hair falling down her back, graceful as usual. You're sweating, but she seems to be fine.

There's an unusual glow to her tonight, and it's not just the moonlight. Though her usual appearance isn't "normal" by any means, she looks... different.

"We can stop here." Her gentle voice cuts through the silence. You look around, it's a clearing lit by the moonlight lined by bushes, looking like something out of a movie set. Adrielle turns to face you, eyes emanating a slight red glow. She clears her throat, appearing nervous, for some reason. "I feel like you might have noticed anyway... but I need to tell you something."
